Indicator-Based Alerts

I am an unashamed user of indicators and I am sure that my trading would be nowhere near as successful if I traded without them.

I am interested in the concept of indicator-based alerts rather than price-based alerts and would be grateful if anyone could point me in the direction of a software package that can provide such an option.

I suppose this will bring out the indicator-haters en masse who will no doubt start posting their bile, but who the hell cares about those sad sickos anyway !!!!!!

yacarob1 started this thread Seems like you can do it on QuoteTracker using Paintbar alerts.

Has anyone used this function ?

I'm wanting to do the same thing using eSignal, but have no idea where to begin. If you are an expert eSignal user and a whiz at writing custom EFS studies AND prepared to help - I'd really appreciate a PM!
Thanks,
Tim.

You might take a look at QT....doesn't look particularly difficult to set up.

And QT is free of course.

yacarob1 started this thread Managed to set up the indicator-based alerts on QT Tim.

Not difficult at all and it seems to be a very powerful tool.

And free of charge...........not too bad at all.
