Hi, I'm new to trading (have no exp at all) currently working 2 jobs & going to school. Soon i will be down to one job & my studies, but I have a question. Is trading open 24/7, or is there a time frame that we have to be there to do so? I want to make some big cash real fast.

Thanks in advance, advice and suggestions welcomed!

Forex is open 24/5 and you can trade from your favourite couch at home ( providing you have got the internet and software )

Well I got the couch & the internet but the software? You got me there. Any input on Options Trading Pat?

It depends on the market :

Forex 24/5

US stocks options are during the session 9:30-14:00 et

Sadly you wont make big cash fast .

Try forex rather than options imho, they are super liquid.
MT4 platform demo is free
Could start your trading career for as little as a $200 deposit for trading live.

If you start trading you can lose it real fast - try something else instead

The most genuine post today! I have to admire the honest ambition of someone who's prepared to study all day, work all evening and trade all night. For the right person, it might work.

Thats the plan! Hell I'll try anything once, and if it works I'll try again for the same results. Just have to get the knowledge part 1st. Dumb money dont make no money:smart:

Good luck.

Find the right market and 1 or 2 or 3 good (low risk) techniques. Become very very good at them through demo accounts. Trade these through market rotations. When you're making consistent profits and not breaking your own rules, start trading very small with real money, ramp it up when gains are boringly consistent.

. . . And therein lies the catch-22. If you know where to look, you can acquire the knowledge reasonably quickly, but putting it into practice and gaining the necessary experience takes a lot longer. If you're attempting to do this under your own steam 'from your favourite couch at home', you'd be wise to think in terms of many months and probably years. If you want to fast track the process, you might be able to do that by gaining formal training via a recognised proprietary trading house. However, if you go down that route - beware - as there are lots of firms with slick websites that talk a good talk but are to traders what vanity publishing houses are to unpublished writers. They'll fleece you for every penny you've got and then some. There are precious few short cuts in this game I'm afraid.
Tim.

People - that really works. Believe me.

Any input on Options Trading

Forget about big money fast (big rewards is just big risk), let your money slowly grow while you are busy with your other jobs and learning.

Options are by far the best product for this IMHO for several reasons.

Seeing you are in the US you CAN NOT go past TDAmeritrade/Thinkorswim.

Do yourself a favour and sign up to dough.com and sign up to TDA/TOS via them, it will help the team at Tastytrade/Dough out and there is also plenty there for you to watch and learn. The comms rates you will get via Dough will be pretty good and as far as TDA/TOS is they have by far the BEST platform out there with NO competition even close. Prices are more than reasonable, speed of fills and platform reliability is top stuff. They also offer both Live and Virtual trading simultaneously via their desktop platform.

If I can help you out message me anytime. I simply could not say enough positive stuff about them as a broker, and would challenge anyone who trades Options to say anything contrary to my view.

My broker offers 24/7 crypto trading but you do sound rushed, which isn’t a good start if you’re really looking to make money. Have you tried trading on demo yet? If not, I’d highly suggest starting there so you don’t blow your investment.
