Hi guys its my first post and ive been reading loads and loads on here about giving up jobs to trade etc, myself im 28 and ive been in banking both retail and investment for around 9yrs, for the last yr or so iv been doing alot of spreadbetting though at first IG but after ready a few threads moved to cmc and im fine with it, ive been clearing around 200-1000 a day with a small pot of £5000 mainly through the indicies and commodities. i discipline myself so that im not greedy and set myself a realistic £200 a day target anything more is a bonus. But i would like to learn abt cfds warrents, guilts etc currently im on a career break (3 mnths)and recently found this company called
who charge for different stages to learn abt trading but what drew my attention was the 4day intense course on the actually trading floor with the moneys and maybe a possiable job after, what do you guys think please?

Thankyou

£3000 plus VAT for a 4 day course and then you'll be placed in a trader job? Give us a break.

lol i thought it maybe after the whole course like from begineer to advanced? anyway if we forget this for a second what would you suggest the best way is to become a trader?

You already claim to be making returns better than any trader on the planet ! why not just keep doing what you are doing :)

So 10 days and £5750 plus VAT? Dont waste your money on these schemes, especially where they are holding out a possible job offer after you pay them several grand.

It was only up to 20% a day, surely after a 5 grand course he could do better?

hi sorry im not claiming im the best or anything, i think atleast 70% of it is luck because on the spreadbet i put lets say £1 per point up on ftse ( just to see if im right) also on the dax, us, etc but then if im wrong i would give it say 20-30 point and then counter it with a £25 per point and say it got to 300 400 then sell same accross the forex, so far its been working for me but ideally i would like to know the markets and cfd's warrent alot better and get a job doing trades.

He thinks we havent heard this type of thing a thousand times before.......

Ok fair enough you made your point all
im asking is for some advice please

We don't know what you know and what you don't. Claiming to make 200 - 1000 per day suggests you know quite a lot, however when you describe how you're making it, it suggests you don't.

If you want to learn from the ground up, try www.babypips.com - this is a good and free resource.

I may be wrong but exams offered by the FSA will cover financial advice, nothing to do with trading.

There are recognized technical analysis courses/exams - a bit of searching will soon find these. Most people think they'll learn this trade in a few weeks - understand you are embarking on a massive journey that will take years of total commitment.
