We would like to hire and train 10-15 trainee traders. We will teach you how to trade successfully in today’s electronically traded global securities markets. Together we will turn you into a successful trader. This is a significant opportunity for anybody attracted to the challenges and rewards that are inherent to the securities markets and trading world. If you think you have what it takes and are ready for a lot of hard work, get in touch with us today!

1. Are you a highly accomplished amateur or professional athlete? Do you have medals hanging in your room, trophies stacked all over the mantle, and blue ribbons stuck to every bare surface in your home? Were you the best or one of the best on your team or in your sport from school, college, university? Have you ever represented your town, county, state, province, or country? Are you a current professional?

2. Are you a video game wizard? Do you invite your friends for some video game action and abuse them thoroughly? Are you a menace to all in Quake, Doom, or other interactive/on line gaming competitions? Have you ever participated in video game competitions? Have you won any video game competitions?

3. Are you a programmer? Do you know more languages than Bill Gates but your skills haven’t yet been fully discovered or tested?

4. Humble beginnings? Did you start life out on the wrong foot, one step behind everybody else, not quite with the same advantages as others but were still able to rise to significant levels of success through shear will, hard work and your natural abilities?

5. Successful Track Record: Do you have a demonstrated record of success? Top grades in high-school? A rock and roll Leaving Cert? Top marks in college? Accolades from jobs?

If the answer is “Yes!” to any of these questions, do the following:

1. Dust off your CV, spruce it up and tailor its content for this position (no more than two pages please, be concise).
2. Prepare a list of your personal, professional, academic, and intellectual competitive accomplishments. If it makes you look like the winner you are, put it in. We want to see your record of success.
3. Now, if your two documents aren’t on a PC, join us in the 21st century and put them into a PC.
4. Label each of the two documents as follows “YOUR FIRST NAME LAST NAME CV” and “YOUR FIRST NAME LAST NAME ACCOMPLISHMENTS”.
5. Remember to double check that you have prepared your CV and list of accomplishments with the correct labelling and then fire it off us.
6. Please send it to [email protected] before the end of March, 2011
7. Once you have done this you will get a thank you email. If your stuff is good, you will definitely get a call or an email response. If you think your stuff is good and you don’t get a call, feel free to drop us a line to double check after a week.

Time for Paulie to have a rant ....

I HATE it when a company asks about sporting achievements. It's moronic, narrow-minded and really quite offensive to specifically link a person's sporting ability to an academic field.

I have never been a sporty type. I play the odd game of tennis, but I don't have any medals from school etc. So that excludes me from becoming a potentially good trader does it ?

How about this ... I love MUSIC. I have loads of awards, trophies, certificates and honours for my music ability at school and beyond. Presumably it had never occured to you that people can demonstrate competitiveness outside the sporting field ?

The world does not revolve around sport.

You even get your email address wrong. I guess it's [email protected] ?

As a potential future employer, I'd be questioning YOUR attention to detail and narrow-mindedness.

Haven't YOU forgotten something ?

Like how much you are charging ??

looks very amateurish so far - 1 guy in his Mum's back bedroom ?

The sport thing is to demonstrate how competitive you are. I must admit I am not at all competitive in some aspects. I have, however, stuck with this trading lark for 13 years studying almost every day and wiping out a few accounts. Play me at chess and I couldn't give a toss.

I once managed to sneeze a baked bean out of my nose while eating dinner. Does this accomplishment secure me the job?

Hi. Before I send CV, I have a few questions. Does this cost anything, if not what is the pay/commission? Also, is this in London, or Irish Republic? Thanks.
