Are there any opinions as to where the best place in the world to trade is. Factors to take into consideration:

1. Warm Climate

2. In a time zone that can trade the London & New York Markets.

3. Reliable internet connections

4. Low income tax

5. Good health service and schools.

6. Easy immigration with a UK passport.

What do you people out there reckon?

I have a friend that swears by Gran Caymen with the only downside being christmas dinner " rice and beans no roast potatoes"

Although for me Cape Town area South Africa would be the choice you can get beach front for £250k good time zone, weather and good flight connections

.

It has to be Essex (anywhere !!)

Points 1, 7 go hand in hand (have u seen what some of the "ladies" wear - its the same in winter and summer)

Points 3,4,5 can be had if u dont rely on the government !

Points 6 - No sweat !

And they speak english (of a sort !)

Thailand Or Singapore.
Good climate, beautiful chicks and easy going people. Also good connections for both flights and internet.

I have lived in South Africa since 1982, now only part time with the UK. SA has a few problems, but as long as you're earning £ or $, which presumably you will if you're trading for your own account, then IMO anywhere on the coast is a good place to be. However, you may find that immigration is not that easy.

SCOTLAND!.............

1. Freezing, damp, miserable climate

2. Unreliable internet connections

3. High income tax

4. Worst health record in Europe

5. Everyone wants to emigrate

So why should you trade from here?........

Because life is so cr*p, losing money in the markets pales into insignificance!

Hey, I think you do scotland a great dis-service. Im English but currently reside in Scotland and I think that Edinburgh is without doubt the most attractive in the UK and has good nightlife, restaurants, bars etc and good job prospects. Scotland has some of the most beautiful scenery and countryside I have ever seen and lets not forget it even has skiing resorts. However, the accent is horrific and the woman (and the men apparently) aren't the most attractive either, but hey you can't have everything.
