Can the blindfolded monkey still beat traders on entries, exits, targets and overall profitability?

"The blindfolded monkey beat the Internet Stock Review's top 20 picks for 1999, which gained 79 percent last year. We did manage to outperform her with our Original Watch List, which gained 490 percent in 1998 and went on to finish 1999 with a two-year gain of 1,566 percent."

Let's change the rules though...

1) Monkey gets it right, monkey gets banana.

2) Monkey gets it wrong, monkey get size 10 up backside.

Now let's see if monkey become more reluctant to throw dart!?

What difference would it make if it were not blindfolded ?
Is the implication that because it could see it would somehow have a better understanding of market dynamics ?

When you become pro, the bananas will be provided at the passing out party.

How will I know i'm pro?.....when I start doing pretend naked option trades with pretend margin perhaps!

And before anyone says....The objective was to prove that writers have the edge over buyers.....well of course they flaming well do....obvious innit...it's the same as selling insurance.....a monkey could do it.
