everyone's winner - how to

They say it's a zero sum game (less spreads/commission). Ok, that makes it a negative sum game.

theoretically there is a way.. minimum capital is 6 million just to be safe..
then trade eur/gbp pair.

use martingale, and -500 pips below each position.

eur/gbp price = negative -0.0124 possible?

total 18 position..

Lot size | amount of drawdown money

assume eur/gbp coming down to 0.0376 total drawdown would be = 3, 475, 807.8

so you had 6million capital, only down -50% in worst scenario case.. LOL

In theory if you bought 15million different numbered lottery tickets then you'd be rich becuase there's only 14.? mln combo's

Still wouldn't fancy it though, even if it was a ROLLOVER!

if all of you disagree that no such thing as everyone = winner.

then i can safely assume, 99% of your trading plan will fail sooner or later anyway.. because it takes another loser to make you a winner, and another winner to make you a loser..?

Its not that hard to understand really, if I win someone looses, everyone can't win because there is no losers and therefore no money to win...

Ok, simple question then:

Are you arguing that trading is NOT a zero-sum game?

I think where everyone wins is called Quantative easing.

But in order for everyone to win - everyone has to lose - which is eventually what happens...

Same with equities - theoretically everyone is getting the future flow of dividends, which is a positive sum game.

umm.. i think in currency there are cases the market cannot take unlimited same orders because 'units available' is limited. is that suppose to be good or bad thing?

What 'units' are you talking about?. Careful - don't spoil it now......

i remember theres an EA which used by many people, it execute the trade during late evening or something due the low market volatility. someday lots of people lose and broker did send some email saying telling the customer bank couldnt process the order flow and they dont want to take in anymore orders. and also saying fx market is not some kind of magic numbers created that allow unlimited buy/sell or something similar like that. what do you think?

Trading is not a zero sum game in FX. Absolute fact.

Why? because more than half the participants in that market AREN'T trading. They are funding cross border liabilities / hedging / repatriating / executing at mandated times regardless of whether it's the right thing to do on pure price grounds etc etc

i see where you are coming from but couldnt you argue that everytime you make an FX transaction (not traditional speculating) you are are placing a trade, if i buy dollars at 1.5 and go to america on holiday and during my holiday it drops to 1.3 i have lost?

I think if there are no buyers you can't sell.
