Hi All,

are there any traders requiring a competent person to carry out work for them. i would like to volunteer my services on a voluntary basis as I would really like to be able to spend some time with a trader in order to help enhance my very own trading.

i want to be a trader and feel being able to be amongst other traders would really help enhance my own skills. as tony robbins once said "get around the people you want to be like". this is a serious offer.

Regards

IceMan,

First off thats the spirit!

But it's going to be hard to find someone for that offer. You'ld be better served by going locally and finding either trader clubs or finding someone who trades at home in your local area. Believe me there are traders that need the help! (Mainly Admin/Paperwork side for me) But when the trading gets to much traders will hire more traders. I just dont see someone allowing (a total stranger) access to their trading accounts.
Wish you luck on furthering your trading endeavors.

Thank you Luckyd1976, do you know of any clubs in the london area?

OK Iceman, I concede that my first post could have been taken out of context.

On a serious note, IMO watching someone else trade isn't the best path forward. Frankly, I should think that any "non-trader" or newbie (I tread carefully here, I do not know anything about your trading history - please correct me if I have misunderstood) watching a professional trade would be quite dull indeed. It has been said that "with knowledge comes appreciation", and I think this is particularly appropriate here - how can you appreciate the intricacies of one traders methods if you don't have a framework of knowledge to put it into context? Aside from traders who use mechanical systems (comprised of ever increasingly archaic indicators), the vast, vast majority of trading is about watching - be it for Class A chart pattern / Price Action setups, or to spot a spoof in the Schatz, it really is a waste of time unless you know what you're looking for. And I think it would be difficult for a seasoned trader to explain in detail everything important he saw in real time.

Didn't mean to offend, but I struggle to see that there is anything significant to be gained - for either parties - from your proposal.

Good Luck

P.S. Spam or no Spam, much kudos for your business accumen and "feet first" approach.

fair commnets. i not a total newbie and do have some trading experience. my idea however is not to sit and watch another trader but more so be able to discuss trading, various set ups and stratergies/systems mainly for spread betting. and i feel that there is probably only a couple things i would really need to learn or should i say clarify and/or tweak. i know i can ask questions on this forum but i do do much better in a more face to face enviroment. Also what do you mean by "spoof in the Schatz"?

i need someone to wipe my a rse at least once a day, if you're up for it. I'd do it myself, but sometimes I just cant be bothered.

Did you have any questions or queries in mind? I certainly do not make the claim I will be able to offer anything new to you, but despite the bullsh!t there are some experienced, genuine and helpful people on here I'm sure - fire away, if anything it will bring your offer to the attention of those in a position to work alongside you...

yeah, that's funny... i expected some one to come up with something like that, very good...

it's more of a case of being amongst people doing the the things i want to do. it's a bit like learning to box from an instructional dvd or going to a gym to learn. does that make sense?

:LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:

and to think that Darren Winters mentions in his adverts that he cooked and cleaned for the top traders so he could get to know their secrets. What total piffle.

Not meaning to be rude iceman17 but why would any seriously good trader WANT you? To them all newbies are the same to start off with and what you offer another can offer as well. And it might not be the best way of going about it anyway.

Arbitrageur,

It's noticeable. Although it is preferable to that Aramis you wear.

Grant.

OK, what do you suggest then?

darren winters does mention that but he just teaches t.a and then throws in a bit of nlp to get you all excited, trading is more than that, but who better to learn from than another trader?

i am however open to suggestions...

I don't think your offer or suggestions should be laughed at, It has even been suggested that it is spam.
Here is someone making a genuine offer and any good trader will look for the advantages in this offer.

I find your offer very compatible with a problem I currently have as I am in a different time zone
please p.m me.

iceman, i applaud your efforts, i am impressed that you have 'thought outside the box" and come up with a creative opportunity for yourself. i only hope one of the less cynical Brethren on these boards may be prepared to help you.
What about 2George, (ftse professional scalping thread) ,have you checked him out ? You seem to be looking for a mentor and he is looking for a protege.

I'd welcome you here as a trainee/assistant but it would mean you having to live in bangkok, spend every evening in go-go bars, weekends at the beach with dusky fcuk bunnies etc etc
I just couldn't put you through that kind of hell .....

of course, if you don't mind working from a basement, in an all-in-one PVC suit with zipper mask, chained up and only let out when a set-up is forming, then Grantx would be yer man .....

OK, if you want to be serious, and ignoring all the sexual innuendoes of some people, I ask why should any decent trader want YOU for them? What do they get in return?

When you go for a job and work for a company they look at your qualifications and see if you fit and if they can make money from you (or rather help them make money). So I ask what compelling reason would any decent trader (who does NOT need anyone's help to make money) would want with your services?

Please ignore Darren Winters. He does not trade, cannot trade, and makes his living by scamming people. And to think that he cooked and cleaned for these so called traders would set off a ton of jokes about his "services" rendered.
