What's your biggest milestone?

Learning how to trade? Or...

Putting what you know into practice?

My biggest milestone was borrowing 10k, i paid it off in 18months. I now have nothing to lose, or so to speak. That's what it's all about.

Where is your trading/investing taking you?

Can i prove it.....do i have to?

That's the level, that's the mark, that's the target. And wether you want to believe me or not, you know deep down,......why not?

Long term investor, short term trader, go for it, put your money where your mouth is!!!

Prove it to yourself.

lost one bank :-(

1/2 way through the next and grrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa !!!!!!!!!!

Breakeven 6 month later :) :)

I just floated for a whole week :)

I just new I could do better and was not in total fear all the time, not frightened to make a mistake anymore.

Felt good, wanted to go further and am having a go and taking my chance and will be happy no matter what.......

The journeys great as good as the snooker journey I took earlier in life and the motor bike Journey and the Hitch Hike Journey round Europe and the Journey to find my Mrs Blackbear

Great trading Paul, do not think I could have borrowed to do it, great achievement well done

Just take part and get yourself a Journey..........any Journey :)

Thanks for the compliment, BB.

Is what i have done out of the ordinary, for the time-frame given?

More to the point, how much capital did i have in the first place when i borrowed 10k?

If only everything in life was black and white....i'm sure the markets would follow suit.

errrrrrrrr I don"t think it is , but you lose it and thats 20 K is it not :)

and I just would not have liked to

latter

Learning not to feel disappointed by taking 10-15pt profit instead of the theoretical 30, 50 or whatever that could have been made when looking at a chart retrospectively.

Phil, i've deleted my previous reply to this post. Will you accept my sincerest apologies, i took this the wrong way last night (been out for a drink) and in 'retrospect' my reply to you was completely out of order. Sorry!

Andy,

A trader either can trade or they can not, but ultimately, you will be your own judge of self competence.

Thats the way it is

Ye only the guy in the mirror makes the calls

I was comparing myself to you

I at the time would not have liked to borrow money to trade with, You can or cannot trade and the best way to find out is do it imvho

Anybody who as their method together I would say one thing

Small Bank ~ trade 1 lot draw 10 % of original Bank per month regardless of trading results

All gone in 6 months = you have had a great time, learnt something maybe and drawn, returned home 60% so you have lost 40% of original stake at the market to no once and for all

not theory not pretend or play play :-0

Cheap as chips imho

milestones:

01: the day I realised that trading was a viable alternative to earn a living;

02: when I finally stopped looking for the "next big thing/system/grail", and realised that my own method was a viable approach.

03: not blowing accounts chasing losses; learning to "let go" and move on to next trade.

04: when I started to pay my mortgage and bills from trading full-time.

Personal milestone: when I realised that there is a difference between what I want to do and what I am good at doing.

A tacky comparison I know, but for me it was when the charts and price had the same effect as when Neo saw the matrix for what it really was and it all clicked into place...

Didn't actually see your reply, Paul71, but I'm intrigued about its offensiveness now!

Hi Phil.

It probably was not that offensive, more sarcastic than anything, but never the less, it was inappropriate in my view. I'll pm you.
