Hi all

Can anyone confirm the following rumour?

I heard that there was a mass exodus from the TradetheMarkets trading room recently because when Hubert Senters made a call people could hear him playing games in the background and I guess for $300 per month (or whatever it is now) they expected better. I am not sure if the call was a good one or not or even if the story is true :).

Can anyone shed any light on the matter?

Many thanks

FIM

I wouldn't have thought so, I'm currently on the two week trial with them and today there was over 300 people in the room and John Carter and Hubert are away in Chicago doing a seminar.

Hubert is a very good tape reader and in my opinion, he tells it straight.

Hope this helps

I don't know about games, but the service sure has degraded. They believe because they brought Carolyn Broden on board (she is great), that they can be gone for weeks on end.
Hubert waits till 9:31 to come on instead of talking 5 minutes before market as he used to. John spends less time per day.
No structure anymore.
Nice to make the money off chat room and then leave and make $3000/head times 25 per room at seminars.
Have expenses paid for by Infinity, which they tought constantly and has had more problems the past 2 weeks then even tradestation.
So as for games, yeh, I think they are playing games, but they have such a blind following, it's amazing!
i'm in Carolyn brodens room and make sure she gets the money, because she really works hard.

The Free Forex Videos From Learn To Trade The Market are great , I even did his course, Great Information and Strategies, cheap too (under $350 usd). Its a unique form of trading though, some might not take to it. I think the Days of Day Trading over for me, I am certainly convinced that Forex is the market for me, as well as higher time frame trading. I always lost money day trading. After Nial Fuller Introduced me to higher timeframes I have stopped looking at my intraday charts completely. I have learned some tips from John Carter , but sometimes people need clarity and simplicity, and I now believe that was the missing ingredient in alot of my trading habits.

Just my 2 cents as always.

Well, If they can trade, which I have seen them do, then they deserve to make money I guess, but at the same time, not all traders really have the ability to pass on knowledge. Here is one of Nial Fuller's InterviewsNial Fuller He has a style of teaching which I enjoy and he always answers emails personally. I think a mentor should be around when you need him and should answer emails and offer genuine trading support. Large time operators like TTM cant offer this. For my $337 with Nial, I am getting personal replies to emails and forum posts, and thats worth the money to me. Again, Not running Hubert or J Carter down, as I have seen those guys trade, but for learners, sometimes we need the personal touch and a different teaching approach.

All educators make money, hard to tell the scammers from the real guys, and theres not many real ones around. I respect anybody that wants to call a live trade, and John, Hubert and Nial Fuller all do that.

Just my 2 cents as always.

Hunter

TTM Hurbert Senters is not LTTTM Nial Fuller.

Yes I also find LTTTM good and value for money.

But this thread did get a bit off track here and I just wanted to say that TTM Tradethemarkets has nothing to do with LTTTM Learn to trade the markets.

cu2, Yeah, nice one for bringing it back on track.

Well marketed Hunter08. Working for Nial? You must be to necro a 2 year old thread...

I think they're frauds. I've followed the trading room, and kept records, and they over three months they lost a considerable amount of money. In their newsletters too they have losers all the time. They just don't mention the losers, but they never stop talking about the few winners. They also used to sell like 10 or more systems, but pulled them all because of the refund request because the systems didn't work.

Don't you find it funny that they don't publish any results or brokerage statements? They're very good salesman, they're not very good traders.

Also, some one said there were 300 people in the trading room? Not true. Usually between 20 and 30.

Their site (tradethemarkets.com) looks to be shut down. I heard a rumor last night that hubert and/or john carter were under investigation(?) Just a rumor, but it coincided with the shutdown of their site. I see that John now works for thestreet.com which (as you know) does not guarantee creditability-remember Lenny Dykstra? Perhaps he and hubert had a falling out. I've queried another forum with little response. Would you know anything more?

Thanks in advance,

Paula

:LOL::LOL::LOL:

Honestly, what do people expect.

You are on your own in this business. If you are not, you are probably being robbed,

I haven't heard any rumors, but I'm not surprised. Small websites defrauding people is one thing, but they took it to the next level. The site deserves to be shut down. One man posted in their forums that he gave John 250K to trade, and he pulled the plug after John traded it down to about 25K. John admitted this was true, and blamed it on the fact that he was busy moving and the man should have known he would be distracted.

My goodness...250k to 25k must be criminal at some level. The thing which "I" find most curisous is the new product at theStreet.com John C. is involoved with (OptionsProfits...I think). Don't these guys (thestreet.com) check backgrounds before they bring folks like John C. aboard? It is a classic example of rewarding failure. But then again, they claimed Lenny Dykstra was an investing savant.

Perhaps you know someone who is a current member of tradethemarkets.com whom may know if this shut down was simply a scheduled maintenance matter.

Thanks again for you reply,

Paula
