Unfortunately the trading RAW thread has been deleted and replaced with a review. Needless to say there are now two glowing reviews from new members with one post each in the review section. How about tradingRAW answer the very valid questions posed in the thread before it was deleted eg where is your business registered, what is the company name and so on.

pb

The thread was deleted because it was basically an advert promoting them (deleting the first post kills the thread).

I believe there was a request to include them in the review section. 10 out of 10 eh, the mind boggles :)

Jon,

Its the usual point I'm making, yes it was essentially an advert but the links could have been deleted with the comments/questions remaining.

I am pleased that the blatant advertising of this company or website has not been allowed to continue in the original thread, but the Review system is an absolute nonsense.

It just gets flooded with "one-posters" all giving a marvellous rating of 10/10 and just allows the company or website to continue its blatant advertising under another guise.

There are long established members on this site who try to assist the mods and newbies by pointing out the scammers and blatant advertisers, yet T2W itself seems to make it so easy for them to operate.

I for one have got past the point of caring and will cease from reporting posts.

Let the scammers and advertisers invade the site, BUT NEWBIES BEWARE.

Yes you're spot on, if I were to post a question in the review thread it would, according to the rules, be deleted because its a question/comment and not a review. There were very valid comments and questions in the deleted thread but now that has gone to be replaced by two posts from new members with one post each.

We all know what is going on there but somebody who has just joined the site may not. I'm assuming that because there is no advertising on this thread it will be allowed to stand, maybe tradingRAW will provide some answers without posting all their links.

hey, i understand that i posted a review and it was the first time i posted. Iam a trader like anyone else and not affiliated with tradingRaw. The review i wrote about them is my opinion and the truth aout what i felt i got out of TradingRaw's content and education. when i signed up to tradingraw, i was able to speak with the owner and ask a few questions before putting my money up. After speaking with him, i took a gamble and signed up. I told myself that $200 was really nothing if i would learn anything from this guy....bc after all i seen his trading. If i learned a single thing to help my trading, then to me in my own opinion it would be worth the money i invested regardless if i made it back or not trading his strategy. All i wanted to do was improve my trading and continue learning.

The concepts and skills i learned from tradingRaw were real, and i could see how i was able to apply it to my trading every day. For me personally it was 100% worth it.

I understand there are a lot of scams artist out there, so yes do do your own research and ask questions. Trading raw is by no means instant success, and guarenteed money, but they definately know trading and for me it was the best choice i've ever made.

I think it looks suspicious because you joined the site today and your first post was a glowing review for a company that had been effectively spamming T2W in the past couple of days. Of course that could all be a massive coincidence but you have to understand that many businesses try to use these underhand methods for free advertising and to convince gullible people to part with their money.

ye my review sounds pretty crazy, but honestly its like that bc it really seems to be the missing piece to my trading as of late. the little things that i learned made huge differences, not to say it will be like that for everyone else, but i really wanted to put in a good review bc that was honestly how i felt about TradingRaw and how much it has helped me. i've never had anything that i learned anywhere else jut make sense and see it work like the concepts they teach.

ive made back what i paid for the service multiple times over, but that wasnt the point for me...i wanted to learn and grow as a trader so that i can continue my journey as a trader and continue to make a decent living. So my "glowing review" was bc i actually LEARNED something useful that could help me continue to make money in the markets. TradingRaw has be patiently answering my questions so my review is a way of saying thank you and sharing with other traders my personal experience.

Can you tell us the name of the company, where it is incorporated etc, this information is not published on the website which looks suspicious.

the company is TradingRaw. The guy who owns the site is name Bano, very skilled trader and definately knws his stuff. If you seen any of the videos, that is him trading. I think he trades just outside of chicago, and originally posted videos online for a group of traders he mentors. since the videos got a lot of views, thats when i believe TradingRaw came about. im thinking he got a lot of questions about his trading from his videos, and people wanting to learn his style and strategy. i definately was one of those guys bombarding him with questions. The site just launched in november so it is very new, thats why not a lot of people know about it. but when speaking with bano, he was offering his price very low to gain credibility bc i would have to agree that the price i paid was undervalued.

:cry: arrrgh - always relied a lot on you, Charlton

It's all so damn difficult. A proper review section is very worthwhile, I think, but it's almost impossible to police. Reviewers can (and have) been asked to provide evidence that they are bona fide users or clients of what they are reviewing and that's about it, aside from our usual mod background checks. At the end of the day we have to rely on the good sense of members.

As far as pb's point is concerned the whole post was just a puff and there weren't any real links. Usually, butchering the post to death so as to avoid deleting it just leaves the subsequent posts read as so much gobbledegook. Better to be rid of it entirely, particularly since a constant reference to the organisation (critical or not) gets their name in the frame and encourages people to go have a look (sort of negative advertising better than no advertising at all)

Yes but where is the company registered, it has to be incorporated somewhere, right? The website doesnt even give an address, do you see how that looks a bit dodgy?

ye, im sure you can send him an email and he'd answer your questions.

I just wanted to give my 2 cents and share my experience with the site.

I can add a little flesh to the bones.
I received a request from TradinRAW to be listed to the reviews section. As I have made clear on other threads, I will list any vendor - either at the request of members wanting to write a review or by the company itself. In all cases, I bring the review guidelines to the attention of anyone making such a request.
3. Are there any guidelines about writing reviews?

I was suspicious when the first review was posted by pavlov0032 and PMd him requesting evidence confirming that he is a bona fide customer. He replied with a PayPal receipt which I am happy is genuine.

I agree that two 10/10 reviews by new members posted within hours of a new firm being added to the section looks very 'iffy' - to say the least. I've since replied to pavlov0032 that many members will reach the same conclusions being put forward here and that if I was the owner of TradingRAW I'd be very concerned. Hopefully, the reviewers will edit their contributions and provide more helpful and insightful content. If they don't, I expect all but the most gullible of green newbies will reach the conclusions outlined by MrGecko and Charlton. As, self evidently, the latter 2 members are not paying customers of TradingRAW - their comments will be deleted - in due course.
Tim.

I think there are quite a few mentors/educators who wish they had never bothered spamming T2W. Free advertising on T2W is OK as long as it doesnt backfire, this site can get names to page 1 of google in no time at all, I wonder how many of them spend thousands on SEO just to see a thread calling them a scam appearing on page 1 of google? That must hurt.

Give them a chance, they're still photoshopping their paypal receipts!

Sorry I'm teasing you but my point is that the reviews system is open to abuse as you can clearly see.
