Hi

Would be grateful for some advice. I need a data provider for Dax futures on Eurex. Am trading intraday for just 5-10 ticks so speed is No1. I don't need a futures broker as trade/execute through a UK spreadbetting broker. The tax free is great but you can't scalp off their prices.

I will use Ninjatrader for charting platform so just need the data and this is where my knowledge lets me down. Common sense tells me I should choose a data provider based in the UK/Europe rather than on the other side of the world, as every (milli)second counts (even though I be just be charting and not queuing contracts). However all I can find are data providers based in the US.

Can anyone help? I need tick data, thanks.

I am not looking for free data, merely enquiring whether CQG data offered through NT (at extra cost by the way) is of the same quality as CQG data that runs their renowned trading platform.

I have asked NT the same question and await a response. I am not interested in purchasing a "CQG Lite" data feed.

Cheers

I trade the bund and mini dax using eurex. You can get cqg data included with the market delta charting platform. A bit more expensive than NT allied with kinetic data but it is a great charting platform if you use volume profile. And if you don't, you should!

I opted for Continuum datafeed through NT which I understand is rebadged CQG. No issues so far. Currently learning volume profile, opted for NinZa indicators which work pretty well. Also learning to read order flow market foot print - steep learning curve for me as background is pure candlesticks however so far so good. Also making the move to futures for scalping but sticking with spreadbets for the larger moves. May need to ask for some advice re. bund trading!
