The "Great" has gone away from this country. The f**** politicians have ruined it.
We need PEOPLE power, to get it back on track.

What are your views?

How can it be FIXED?

The Labour Government in the 1970s Ruined the country. it needed a "TOUGH" leader, to have got us out of the mess.

"The Lady" put greatness in the British pride!, Can Cameron be as tough as Thatcher?
There must be NO mercy............
Total RUTHLESS.....

Get rid of the b**** ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS
Get Rid of the B*** QUANGOS
Get rid of the B*** BENEFIT CHEATS

cameron you got to be RUTHLESS

what ya say?

You could start by asking those who voted NuLab 3 times.

A record nearly 10 million - are 'economically inactive'.

Ba****** > Living of benefits, and i work my ass out - every day 12 hours a day!

i think it's beyond fixing tbh. The last Labour govt gave away the country without a shot being fired.
I have a mate who i used to work with, he's gone down the route of depression(he is not depressed it's a scam) with his doctor. He is now on incapacity benefit, he pays no rent, and with the child tax credits, he pulls in well over a grand a month. Most nights he puts away 12 stellas, knowing he hasn't got to get up for work, everyday is his own. Scandalous, right?
Consider the fact that when he was working, after paying rent, bils, child support, he was left with the princely sum of 200 quid a MONTH, to live on. Personally, i can't blame him.
Having said that, if i can find a decent country to live in i'm off. But where to go? France- lovely country apart from the french. Italy- full of sex mad dwarfs. Spain- oily untrustable peasants. Greece- are you kidding? Those ba******** wouldn't know a can of deodorant if it hit em, and ladies, whats with the underarm hair, billy goats have less body hair.
If anyone has any suggestions, i'm all ears.

I think you'd enjoy Antarctica

I have a friend who does the same thing (incapacity benefits even though he is fine) and has at least as much disposable money as my friends who go to jobs they hate for 12 hours everyday. Sometimes i think he's got it right. We only live once, who wants to spend it going to work when you can hang out at the pub or sun bath and enjoy life!!?

However, that's not really what makes Britain bad in my personal opinion. The country just seems full of horrible people now. Maybe to do with the education system? Maybe we're just too soft on violent criminals etc etc.. I dont know.

As for where to move too, i'd love to move to America or Canada. One day :)

In all seriousness, i do think education is a major factor. I was lucky, my mum sweated 2 jobs to put me through public school.I learnt respect, discipline, a work ethic, etc, which sadly seems to be lacking nowdays. Look at the tv progs that are popular- britains got talent, x factor etc- brain dead people watching and entering believing that they are talented, if only they can be discovered. What feeds this self delusion? How many do you reckon could list any of Shakespeares works, could tell you who Plato was, have any conception of the law of diminishing returns?
We are churning out young people who are unemployable, with worthless qualifications, who cant finish a sentence without, innit?
I'm in my early 40's, but what happened to common respect and good manners? What happened to working hard? Nowdays every idiot seems to think the world owes him a living. The last 30 years do not bode well.
Yep, the US and Cad seem favourite. California- somewhere around Carmel, or Monterrey would do nicely, plus your'e near Pebble Beach to play golf. A truly lovely part of the world. Canada- Whats not to like about Montreal ?
To the arsewipe who suggested the Antartic, 23 yrs old, such a big boy!Grow up ar--WIPE, I guarantee you'll be singing a different hymn in 20 yrs time.

The opportunity to win a 'war' on illegal immigrants already in the UK is lost. Legalising their status would bring minimal tax revenue because of their probable low rates of pay and employment, while health and social services, benefits etc. costs would probably outweigh these. Removal would be prohibitively difficult and expensive. Economically speaking, there is nothing to be done but to ignore them as long as we can, and then regularise them when we can''t stand the symptoms of the situation any longer.

With regards prevention of further illegal immigration, no government, left, right, weak or strong has so far made any serious impression.

You're getting steamed up about a problem nobody in power accepts as a problem, with solutions that cannot work. None of this says anything about the UK in particular.

Calm down, or you'll bring on an apoplexy. :whistling

Have fun in California, with all those brown people from Mexico, someone like you will love it.

Quangos - Yes, we've got too many. But this is another symptom of centralist government. Parkinson (of Parkinson's Law fame) explained how and why government departments grow.
http://www.spreadsheetdetective.com/berglas/Articles/parkinsons_law.pdf
There doesn't seem to be any way to stop this.

Culling out some departmental staff into quangos years ago was a brilliant move well worthy of Sir Humphrey Appleby - department staff numbers cut, office space requirements in expensive central London cut, London-weighted salaries avoided. But getting rid of quangos alone isn't going to save a vast amount of money, unless the work they do is also scrapped, and we're not hearing the government say much about that so far. If their work is carried on by central government departments, why should I think they would be more efficient?

War on illegal immigrants???

What if illegal immigration is a government policy???

Illegal immigrants can't claim any benefits!

Problem is the legal ones seeking asylum... However, even here the problem is so minute to be a drop in the ocean of our mountain of debt.

Economic migrants are the solution to our problems...
- DECLINING BIRTH RATE
- AGING POPULLATION
- IMPENDING PENSION CRISES
- LAZY INDEGENOUS POPULLATION

Bankers, daft management, thieving politicians, rich judiciary. Rewarding failure and the stuck up elite are the problems this country faces.

Could you report your friend please?

Are you Richard Littlejohn?

No really, are you?

I can only presume you're english , from that quote.
Let me give you a heads up, although why i'm wasting my time on an immature twat like you, beats me, this is my last post.
Youv'e wandered into a serious discusssion, about the state of the UK at the present time, you're immature responses do you no credit. If you want to make sweeping generalisations, then i suggest reading the whole thread. Liberalism in itself can be rewarding, however you have to know what battle you're fighting.
Ever been to California? Ever Been to Canada? Ever seen the big wide world???
Sat in your bedroom, still living with Mom?, that's ok, shows how ignorant you are, guess you could be the next big contestant||
Sweet dreams ****||pe !!!!!!
