new_trader started this thread A documentary worth listening to I remember my first sampler, a Roland W30 and then I moved up to an Akai S2800. Great times!

Thought you would like that one NT. If not the actual music, certainly the concept

On the rapping front, I'm partial to a bit of N-Dubz now and again, but that's my idea of torture!

Doesn't surprise me from other posts of yours.
Still into it?
I've still got a small setup, Access Virus, XV3080, lexicon reverb,
and 3 Internal DSP mix cards hooked up to LAP 5 (showing its age there )
and a boatload of reasonably high end sample sets (East west orchestral etc.)
Wished I'd stuck with it sometimes, didn't seem much point once the main
earner became live music again.
Should get back into it even if just for fun.
