NHS has got totally out of hand. Devised for situation when average working class had no medical cover & couldn't afford it, retired at 65 and died by 72 with only a limited range of medical procedures available. Good socialist answer to a pressing need and financially viable at the time.

Subsequent governments omitted to balance the books, allowed the NHS to cover everything, allowed it to become a sacred cow and totally forgot its original scope and purpose.

It can only collapse – the big danger is that the electorate will blame it on the incumbent government and turn to the likes of Corbyn which will result in even bigger disaster. May needs to get to grips on this urgently.

Well if you are, the NHS may ban you from the hospital for a year - so get yer finger out and return to a normal weight. Even I did last year. So can you then, lay off the cream buns and sugary drinks.

BMI is a flawed system.

Lot of rugby league and Grid Iron players have a BMI over 30
