I was thinking of a quick hop across the channel from Shoreham to Boulogne-sur-Mer to pickup a bottle of Beaujolais to ave with mi pasta

Also, London would be just a short hop.

Would love to glide again, apparently it's like flying a glider. So best of both worlds really.

Checkout gliding over the Southdowns...

Recognise Devil's Dyke and those wind surfers. Looks dangerously close to them.

I'm not a plane guy, or a boat guy, or an art guy -- maybe just...slightly...a car guy.
But if I was really wealthy, the one 'toy' I would want is this Patek Philippe Celestial 5102 watch.

Great watch.

Saves time too - self winding

My morning alarm clock that I don't use tells me the time when I touch it. Great piece of engineering. No need to open eye-lids.

There are quite a few car planes out there now. One press of the button and it transforms into a plane.

What about this baby. I've always wanted to fly from my backyard.
