Travel or trade?

This has been bugging me for a few months now as I have a big life choice to make. Basically I can choose to travel with a bunch of buddies for the next 2-3 years, Europe, Asia, USA, all the party capitals too. Or I can continue trading, and progress to full time trader.

Part of me says travelling while i'm young can only be the most eye-opening and confidence-boosting thing you could do.

On the other hand, even though I'm a daily chart trader, being away in different countries, different timezones, I wouldn't be there, or wouldn't be in the proper state of mind , let alone having a computer on standby, to trade properly, leaving a pretty darn big gap in my 'record'. Also if I made to full time trading, pretty sure I could afford to travel a lot as well.

Travel. Don't even think twice, just go and have a blast.

Time is the most precious commodity on earth. Think about when you're lying on your bed for the last time, staring at the ceiling. What are you going to regret? Missing out on travelling round the world when you're young and carefree, or a couple of years of trading?

The markets will always be there. Your youth won't.

I think travelling would maybe sort out some of the issues that bring me to trading in the first place too

I'm finding it really tough to give a sh!t.

Why don't you go and get a life and get some decent problems to worry about? Travel? Trade? Wo cares? Nobody on here knows what's best for you. Nor do they care.

Man up and just make a decision, any one, it really doesn't matter. Whatever you do you'll still be a clueless dork in 3 years time.

Why 2-3 years, why not just 1 or 1 and a bit?
And when you say trading, are you currently employed or are you just trading from home for yourself?

Dood, travelling for 2-3 years! You obviously have too much bunce keep on trading that'll cure that little problem:p I'm just jealous.

True, you do have multiple nics.
Not at the moment I don't. Well, apart from the old ones, but I can't remember the passwords.

NT, when you close your eyes after getting into bed at night, do you think about me? I get this unsettling feeling that you've got a scrapbook all about me with all my various 'misdeeds' in it along with newspaper and magazine cuttings. I don’t see this much obsessive behaviour towards other members so can only assume it’s a specific sexual attraction to wealth & power. I can understand the view you get from your little bedroom window in your mum & dad’s tower block flat it must seem intoxicatingly exotic, but you’ll have to trust me – it’s all relative.

Don’t flatter yourself. I do it for all the unbalanced, two-faced, boot licking, grovelling hypocrites with the exception of Connie Brown...although she looked like The Degrees dressed in drag, she darned my socks.

I imagine your socks get quite a bit of punishment.
