Just under 2 weeks to the big day so let's see how T2W members would vote.

You can compare our voting to the latest US polls here. If you fancy a bet, these people think Kerry is good value at 8/5. Alternatively, you could trade it on a real money futures market here.

While we're on the subject, anyone got any tips on how to plan trades around November 2?

Well according to that first link, Bush has just completed a higher low and in true Dow fashion should fall through the floor any time soon - but Kerry is on Wave 2 pullback, so he ought to win it by a country mile

As for trades on Nov 2nd - make 'em fast ones

I think that Kerry as a person, comes across very well (better than bush) to the audience. He has a very calm, gentle and humble demeanour. Dare I say this about a politician - he even seems genuine.

I really find it incredible that people can consider voting for a man who invaded a country and justified it by supplying evidence he had told his agencies to provide (Even if it wasn't true); doesn't care about the environment; has failed any company he's been in charge of; and convinced everyone that he had won the last election despite all the evidence showing he didn't - and then refusing to listen to anyone who complained!

Emmmm, nice person to be the most influential in the world.

....brainwashed, misinformed and dumbed down are the most easily led people....

I don't like either of them at all, but clearly Kerry is safer for the rest of the world (and especially the UK) than Bush.

Bush & Kerry are both members of a certain secret society that is essentially the "true" leaders.

Vote for one your voting for the other :) ahhhh this is what democracy is all about.

As far as a constructive comment on making a few quid out of this election, Vote Kerry !

We had appeasment before World War 2.
If we had acted earlier tens of millions of lives would have been saved around the world and my generation wouldn't have been born into years of rationing and ancient crumbling industry and kids walking around in rags and wellington boots.
Lest we forget.

Imho Kerry is a windbag who looks the part and says what people want to hear. A well-coached poseur.
All easy when you're 'paper trading' .Different when you do it for real.
If he gets in the terrorists will see it as a victory for them.

Bush is a total tosspot.

I could put forward a more justified reason for this statement, but I thought I'd come down to the intellectual level of the average Bush voter - just incase any of them have the mental faculties to turn on a PC and navigate this site (which is unlikely). I mean who would actually vote for someone who has failed in business SIX times, is an alcoholic and a registered drug abuser to run the worlds most powerful country? Im surprised this guy can get out of bed, yet alone stand for president.

If any Americans are reading this - do America and the world a favour and vote for Kerry.

I understood that he usually falls out of bed whilst simultaneously choking on a pretzeL

A tragic and sad fire is reported to have destroyed the personal library of President George W. Bush.

BOTH of his books have been lost.

Sources close to the president report he is really quite devastated...

Apparently he had not finished colouring in the second one.

As we discovered last time around, the "democracy" is not in the voting, anyway: it's in the counting.

I am a Christian so I cannot vote for a party that supports abortion and homosexuality. When people say pro choice they really mean pro kill because that is what it is. I am a sinner yes so I am not saying I am perfect but Bush is against homosexual marriage and abortion and for the 10 commandments. That is more than I can say for Kerry since he is pro death and for civil unions. Kerry has a terrible flip flop voting record. I cannot trust him because I do not know where he stands. People that are voting for Kerry are voting for Kerry because they hate Bush and hate his Christian values. I don't know of any true faith based individuals that would possibly vote for Kerry with his immoral behaviour. Him showing up in the black church was ridiculous. How terrible to go to a black church to win black voters. You don't see Bush going to churches doing that. We already know he is a humble Christian man. Many of you do not know that he overcame his drinking and drug problems in the 80's due to his faith in Jesus Christ. He completely stopped because he found Jesus and received him. How can you hold the man hostage for that past when many of you probably have your own problems. I love the man because he overcame his drinking problem through faith in God. That is awesome and shows me what kind of man he really is. Liberals hate God and hate the 10 commandments and want God out of the US. You may get that someday and then you just lost your country. I am sorry, but Kerry is no more honest than Bush and I believe the war is justified by removing Saddam. He was a horrible leader who killed millions of people. How can you justify NOT going over there and removing him. We are a country with the power to do it and it is a sin not to help people when we can. I think the US should help every country it possibly can. We are a very blessed country and so many just don't see that. Keep taking it for granted liberals. One day you may not have a country so blessed and you will be crying and moaning wondering what happened.

By the way I am not ref. to democrats as not being Christian. I understand there are Democrats who have tradditional conservative Christian views. At one time the Dems were not like they are now. That party has become liberal accepting all immorality. The ones left that are conservative are starting to turn there backs on there own democrats because GOD COMES FIRST!!!

I did not want to post on this thread but your mail has forced me to have a frustrated rant.

Bush is against homosexual marriage and abortion and for the 10 commandments.

I think he must have thrown out the one about "Thou Shalt not Kill" or are the little brown people not classed as human in your Christian value structure?

We already know [Bush] is a humble Christian man...
I am sorry, but Kerry is no more honest than Bush..

By your own admission this means that Kerry is either trustworthy or are you saying Christians are not trustworthy?

I think the US should help every country it possibly can. We are a very blessed country and so many just don't see that

The problem is there is a Fox News type definition of "helping" another country and then a reality which removes the help and replaces it with exploit at best and extends to genocide in certain other locations that "need" a Pepsi factory at worst.
If you look at how the US has interfered with geopolitics over the years without your, I am sorry to say, frighteningly brainwashed blinkers on, you will see that they actually bear the major responsibility for forming what is now seen as the axis of evil.

I agree that America is a great country and could really do so much for the World and it is great that a lot of Americans want their country to do this but right now unfortunately there are some very dark forces at work making decisions which will be potentially disastrous for us all and refusing to listen to what anybody else has to say. They are not the forces of good but of deceit, selfishness, destruction and protectionism.
Homosexual marriage and abortion as with all these "side" issues are just about votes, you are the target and it obviously works very well.
Kerry will not change a lot but it will at least give the US the possibility to regain some sort of credibility with the rest of the planets population.

Anybody who claims that Bush is doing Gods work has either totally and wilfully stopped questioning or thinking for themselves or is so brainwashed by the machine that there is little hope of ever getting them back.

If I am praying now it is for less people who have adopted your very narrow perspective and are registered to vote in the coming election.
