I'm new to forex and trying to work out what a reasonable annual return is.
Is a 60% return reasonable to expect once you've been doing it for a year or so? 100? More?
Obviously it changes with the person, but if someone could let me know what to expect or aim for, i'd really appreciate it .Thanks.

"what to expect" based on the majority experience is to lose money. So aiming at not losing has to be the simplest answer.

Thanks, i guess so. But one year out, what kind of % returns are realistic?

Depends on so many things:

Risk aversity, style of trading, use of leverage, starting capital.

A benchmark you could compare yourself against is the stock market for minimum return you need to make per year. If you're not beating a passive buy/hold investment, then you're wasting your time and it could be spent on something more productive.
