Short intro

Hi,

I am a team leader in a seven person international trading system designing group. Currently our core team consists of experienced algorithmic system designers and some experienced traders. We have started to work together on February 2009 and we are currently working on several different trading system development projects. Our motive is to build profitable automated trading systems is to trade our own accounts (and for some of us to manage also client accounts), we do not develop systems for commercial distribution.

We are looking for an experienced trader to join our ranks. Your role would be to work with our other system designers and come up with algorithm/trading system logic for our programmers to code. It would be good if you already have some experience in automated trading system building, but this is not requirement, we just need you to be serious trader with good ideas for new trading systems!

Your reward would be the ability to have you ideas scripted by experienced algorithmic programmers, ability share ideas with other developers and you would also be able to share our commonly developed trading systems.

Looking forward hearing from you

Best regards,

J

ps.
If you are serious about this opportunity, please write to me at: fibonachi72-5 at yahoo dot com - please no beginners :)

pps.
We use currently using mainly MT4 and MQL for our system development. In near future we also include tick charts in our project (programming language is 'EasyLanguage' and program we use is called MultiCharts, which is improved version of the well known Trade Station platform). I would be really helpful if you have experience using MultiCharts.

interesting idea, i'm also trading with multicharts and developing automated systems.

i combined several time frames and build multiple conditions, with most focus on exits, and came up with this system that just has a crazy equity curve.

it is rather high frequency, 1000-2000 trades per month, and the annual return is 3-4 digit, drawdown 20-30%.

the system is only using few indicators, and is pretty parameter stable, so i dont think it is just modeling the past, anyway right now i'm doing some live simulations on a fxcm demo account, before i switch it on a real-money account.

are you still active with your project?

Hi,

Is this project still going ahead? Software Developer/Quant here. Built my own system but always interested in comparing notes.
