no system/trader is profitable all the time — the PriceTimeMovement is IRREGULAR
a given fixed B/S set of criteria will produce losses, however, if there are more winners
than losers and/or individual trades profits are greater than losses, the system 'works'

Forex TSD| Metatrader Indicators and Experts Advisors
register at forex-tsd and explore the site and note that 'systems' aren't limited to the forum
'Manual trading systems', many systems can be found amongst the 'Indicators - Metatrader'
forum and elsewhere
since I don't use the MT4 'Expert Advisors' I don't read those threads and don't know how
successful or not any EA might be, BUT, my recommendation is to NEVER purchase an
MT4 EA or System without first researching it via forums such as forex-tsd; often the code
originates on such forums, and/or, someone has translated the EA/System and created a
version of it and posted it — for free, on the forum
there are now thousands of MT4 indicators and EAs which are free and many systems that
'work' judging by the Posts quantity; go slowly, there's a LOT of info to review, in fact record
threads/pages/names of systems and/or indicators you download so you can easily find
them again, so much info is available and often indicators in particular are posted within
threads or appear for instance in 'MTF Indicators' — not as dedicated posts

imo trade 2 accounts, first Day-to-Days/Weeks, second if you've the time/interest a 'scalp'
system where trades last a few minutes to a couple of hours
my primary method is based on the Fibonacci and Standard Error Channels tools, works for
me tho better for longer term trading

now, MT4 coders have imo created a LOT of chart eyecandy to the extent that price bars are
obscured when some systems/users spread a couple of dozen indicators over MT4 —
less is more appears to be unknown to many — trading the indicators rather than the Price

I've been looking for a short term/scalp method, a Green light/Red light system that doesn't
require thinking or analysis — 'just enter the appropriate order when the light comes on'
here's a very simple system I discovered this week but haven't yet traded; several traders
have traded the system and reported positive results — it works:
'The Buy Zone Trading System' by TheRumpledOne - TRO
method, results and indicators can be found here: kreslik.com - Traders Community :: Index
register to download, view: 'TheRumpledOne' and 'MetaTrader 4 platform' forums

I see that TRO has finally posted here on T2W and while I expect him to provide a lot more
info than I plan on providing, I'll nevertheless leave this post intact

attached:
the first chart shows 2 Buy Zone indicators on a one minute chart, the 'History' is just used
so you can see how the 'BZ everyhour' performed previously and isn't used while trading
white vertical lines are the new hour and the white horizontal lines indicate the Open price
for that hour, blue horizontal lines are the Buy zone, red horizontal lines the Sell zone . . . .
"Go long on green (bull) candle in the long zone, short on red (bear) candle in short zone."

the second chart illustrates the same 2 indicators plus the white Retracement fibo from the
previous 60min H to L, and yellow Correction fibo from the H seen on the chart to white fibo
L (white fibo is deleted after yellow fibo is drawn); stoch is a test at 20 10 3
TRO doesn't use 'squiggly' lines so may not appreciate this chart ; ) even at extremes they
can't be relied upon, tho they - stochs 'may' help keep one in a trade longer
I'm 110% confident in the usefulness of fibos

stay tuned

There is no free lunch in the world at all. We can find hundreds of free EA robots everywhere, they have been modified by many people. Which one is the original? Which one is the best? Which one will cause dead-loop? Nobody knows, and nobody is responsible for any error.

If free software is so good, why Linux can not beat Microsoft Windows?

Hi

Most of the seasoned traders know where the orignal stuff comes from. The copycats go around looking to copy expert advisors and sell them .

If you search the internet you will see orignal dates of systems posted for free.It is only for some opportunist to deny the orignal author the credit, and start marketing it as his own

But the copycats wish the public believe their rhetoric about orignailty

just remembered to post these

'TradeZone' Clayburg's method of trading the Daily open
'pips' analysis of pips per hr of some pairs; NB these amounts may have changed
'mkt hrs' diagrams currency to timezone; NB currencies are traded 24hrs a day
'DayOpen 2' MT4 indicator that draws a horizontal line from the Day's Open

hi tr2w: well you couldn't have picked a worse example --
"If free software is so good, why Linux can not beat Microsoft Windows? " the only
people who could understand how to use it were the nerds, seriously tho no one is going
to replace the hundreds of millions Windows user base. there are lots of free programs
that are very successful -- browsers, media players and Adobe Reader

but I understand your pov. my emphasis wasn't meant to be free, rather that people
should check before buying because the fx industry as a whole is full of scammers of
one sort or another and people are taken-in by rediculous claims of how much money
they'll make by buying this EA or pdf system or indicator etc

I visited your site Raingull FOREX MT4 Automated Trading EA Robot Software, FX Foreign Currencies Auto-Trade System and see you provide a free 30 day trial of your
' Raingull FOREX Automated Trading System & Robot Software ' and I may take you up
on your offer. I was thinking that one could build a portfolio of pairs to be traded by
the Raingull EA which one couldn't otherwise do manually, but I wonder if you plan on
a simple registered users forum so setup ideas could be exchanged, I think for me at
least that extra help would be very useful

hi oilfxpro, well if MT4 coding were writing and publishing music or novels then there
wouldn't be copyright problems
I can't speak to your experience of forextsd, I've only been a member for a couple of
months and don't see any spam, I've occassionally looked at the 'Banning-Deleting'
thread so maybe they've tightened things up, owners and moderators can be duped at
least at first as easily as the rest of us
it's understandable that scammers and others looking for sales/business ideas would
hangout at forextsd, forexfactory etc, afterall, most successful artists are frequent visitors to art galleries ; )

just discovered:
" Build Your Own Automated Forex Trading System Using
the Best Parts of Over 40 Backtested Systems "
Forex Trading System

fxcm said to be making soft release of MT4 in Feb, full release + 2-3 wks

Wow...interesting video...
Why is the forex market so full of bull****ting scammers?
It's not like that in other markets....

Because forex trading is the most unsuited to technical anylysis.....moving averages ,indicators (90% of indicators probably don't work on forex in the long term tests of 10,000 trades) and technical studies.

Most of them blow their accounts using t/a and have to revert to some form of scamming, to recover their losses

Fundamental anylysis of economies and interest cycles are more relevant to forex

What markets do you suggest are more TA friendly than forex?

Thanks a lot.

Crude oil ,heating oil ,natural gas are more suited to T/A.They are very trendy and seasonal ...almost 40 % average annual range from low to high

Currency pairs 10 to 15 % max annual ranges plus very small trends comparatively

Do you know where i can look at some free (preferably MT4) energy charts?

Do the energy instruments trade 24/5?

How do the spreads work in the energy sector?

Do the same news releases that drive foreign exchange price movements affect the energy instruments?

How trendy is gold in comparison to forex?

Cheers.

some weekend reading

Philip Nel's ' 4 Hour Strategy (MACD) ' runs to 734 pages with 2500+ chart, pdf and
indicator etc attachments; fortunately Nel's added an Index on p 1 making it one of the best documented forex systems on the boards since he covers content usually
found only in books: 4 Hour Strategy (MACD)
as well Nel's has a: ' 5Min Intraday System ' again MACD based -- but no Index:
5Min Intraday System
and a 60m -- see Index; all that's missing is a running Trades Profit - Loss table

what's worthwhile about reading some of the material are the rules, observations and
methodology that are applicable to any form of trading
for your convenience a copy of Nel's Index is attached
