I've just come across the ProSignal.net website, and was wondering if anybody has traded using the signals they provide? Has anyone used the automated system whereby a trade is automatically executed in your account when a buy or sell signal is identified? If so, were you able to make anything like the profits they show on the website? Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi IM.

I took a look at this website and the returns seem a bit ridiculous: +126%, +192% and +83% for the past 3 years - I don't doubt that this is possible, but anyone who could really deliver this performance would be inundated with offers of money to be managed :) (i.e. not trying to sell software, courses, subscriptions, etc.)

I just finished an assignment in prime brokerage with the #1 investment bank in the city and the hedge funds only managed 1.9%, on average, in the first 6 months of this year. These are some of the smartest guys in the business and they find it tough to consistently make returns above the benchmark indices.

So, you might learn something from this software/course/whatever but don't expect an easy ride.

If you want to run some free backtests you could try www.fxengines.com - they seem like a good bunch and they don't make any dodgy claims...

Best of luck
Steve

oriana, I have use pro signal for the past few months, I find their charts great, but their buy/sell signals are awful, mainly because I daytrade, and so my strategy is different from theirs, as they are more longer term. Hope this helps

hi oriana,
our platform allows traders to trade automatically chosing from a number of 3rd party signal services for trades.

Regards

1.9% on average is pretty bad result (no hard feelings pls.). World is full of 'smart guys' but this is specific business, no school or social contact will make you smart enough for it. It is only learning, practicing, persistence, year after year, that will make you good trader. There is no shortcut. And funds are full of semi-skilled traders (but with fancy diplomas). Statistics shows that there are not many skilled traders with more than 5 years of practical market experience. And 5 years is hardly enough. There is certainly more funds than good, skilled traders.

I personally am 10+ years in this business. First 5 were losing ones, where I made all possible mistakes and have seen all possible situations/setups. Now I make 400-500+% in same six month period, without too much effort (using leverage 1:20 to 1:50). If you want equivalent required fund result, divide percentage (leverage) by 5 or by 10.

If those '1.9% smartest guys' think they will take my (and my fellows') money, they better be prepared for hard times. You cannot substitute experience.

honest regards

Dag

The signals seem pretty fair and good to me. problem is waiting for the exits you need to stay up or just put one in and go to bed.
I dont think fx reveview was very complete

Thanks GUYL

I looked at MT it looked good. But when do those two trades a day come and how many other years back do they have.
Roys marketing is good, except not as clear and concise as it could be. If he would say some results etc. if you do this I would like it better

I looked at the site for a while, seems impressive low wins on the US index but shows good profits. Broker discounts withTerra allow you to get software free too

I have been looking for forex not sure about there research totally on them, need to ask live

Hi guyl/AC007 and others

On forex trading, you can get a good idea by checking the posts on the Foreign Exchange section of the MTPredictor Discussion Forum here: http://www.mtptrader.com/forumdisplay.php?f=30

Our better traders confirm that MTP works best on timeframes higher than the shortest eg. 15/30/60/120/180/240/480/D.

Because of its acute focus on risk, very short timeframes tend not to offer suitable risk/reward profiles on trade set-ups and, in any case, are often thrown by noise.

Regards and thanks to Paul and Eamonn for allowing me to post this reply.

Had demo account for 1 month and was impressive. Debating about opening a live account.
