Is anyone hedging their US dollar trading accounts

Just a question to all of you out there

Is anybody hedging their US dollar trading accounts with an offsetting position in Euro, Pound Aussie etc.

I am thinking of moving some money back into a US commodity account and hedging it in my fx account. The intention would be to hold the the hedge for as long as the dollar is sliding. But I know there is always going to be a temptation to fiddle with the hedge which will defeat the purpose.

I am sure others have thought of this, any comments?
