Murry Math Lines and Price Action

Rob's asked me to start a new thread for Math Lines and price action, to distinguish between the different methods used, which I'm happy to do.
Most people starting out in Forex are looking for an easy rules based system that doesn't take much time or knowledge to trade, I know I did. It wasn't long, though, before I realized I needed more in-depth knowledge of trading to really succeed with it, this is where the problem starts, for most people, because they don't have the time or real interest to dedicate a lot of time to learn how to trade. It seems simplistic but to become successful at trading you need to really enjoy the process of trading.
It has taken me about 18 months of looking at different time frames (TFs) and indicators to find a combination that works for me, namely Murry Math Lines, price action (PA) and lower TFs. The reason I like this combination is you have your support and resistance lines on the higher TFs and then you look at the lower TFs for the PA, which is the best leading indicator, to enter
When I have more time I will transfer post from the PA thread to this one to get everything in one place.

stevepatt started this thread Look out for this type of PA, on the EU 15m TF, when it occurs at a MML and see the kind of R:R that can be achieved.

stevepatt started this thread To late in the day for me to trade but it shows what I look for in this case a two candle engulfing pattern at resistance.

Hi Steve,
Before returning back to employment in early August I was taking a keen interest in your posts and did download Murry Maths and it has made alot of difference to my trading, especially in the area of support and resistance. I have also tended towards the shorter TF's when deciding on when to enter a trade although I have to admit I have not mastered the understanding of PA and have a way to go in this area yet. I do use an extremely fast reacting indicator (Fisher Transform) which helps considerably to determine entry/exit points in a trade.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Roger
