stevepatt started this thread I'm using this thread as a trading diary which gives me an over view of what I'm seeing and why I'm taking a trade or not. It will help me to see which are the best setups to trade and which aren't working so well.

stevepatt started this thread This is what I'm waiting for on EU, we'll see. I don't trust the initial break at Frankfurt open at the moment because I have seen it reverse quite often recently.

Re: Murry Math Lines and Price Action

stevepatt started this thread I didn't get to trade this morning, but this is what I like to see, if the market has the 200EMA working for me I find it adds strength to the setup.
I also like trading Higher Highs/Lower Highs and Lower Lows/Higher Lows setups because I often find when the market comes back to test an area of support or resistance but doesn't quite get there and then reversal PA occurs, like the illustrated examples, this makes for very good high probability setups.
I'm not worrying so much about the lines I'm trading from but more the quality of the setup I'm seeing and when the 200EMA gets involved so much the better.

stevepatt started this thread I don't usually trade GU but if I was this is what I'd be looking for especially if the 200EMA gets involved as well, remembering that it's NFP today.

stevepatt started this thread This is the 1h chart showing reason for waiting for a test of a level to turn resistance into support. I didn't have time to do it earlier.

stevepatt started this thread I find it a good idea to try and determine, in an ideal scenario, what you would want to see happen in the market before taking a trade. This is what I would like to see with the EU this morning, wether I'm around to trade it is another thing but there's no point in rushing into a second rate position just to see it go against you.

stevepatt started this thread Haven't been around to trade today but took this short, after I got in, market reluctant to go higher, this late in the day it would be unusual for the market to break such a strong resistance level.

stevepatt started this thread Took this long trade after test of 200EMA and the engulfing candle that came from it. I do like finding entries with the 200EMA and MML working together.

stevepatt started this thread Well market came down to test previous resistance.
I've been out all day so haven't been trading got in to see what is becoming one of my favorite set ups with the break of resistance and 200EMA a slight pull back and of it shoots.
It's a setup worth looking out for.

stevepatt started this thread You can't get them right all the time, but it's annoying when you get the direction but not the timing correct.

stevepatt started this thread Been reading this thread on FF about trading HH/LH Higher low, lower high system @ Forex Factory
as I've been finding this method of trading very reliable.

Took two trades today using this method.
