stevepatt started this thread When the weekly and monthly MML come into play they are particularly strong levels of support and resistance because they have been consistent for the most time. Since the 30th August the Euro has dropped 1400 pips it will take a support level like this to turn the tide, we'll see.

stevepatt started this thread Took this trade short after a strong move down but leaving me enough room to at least take a 1:2 RR.

stevepatt started this thread You often find the market comes back to test an area of support or resistance before finally taking off, like on this occasion.

stevepatt started this thread If I miss a break and it goes more than 3 MML. I don't try to enter, what I look for is the next area of support or resistance.

Re: Murry Math Lines and Price Action

stevepatt started this thread It might be late for trading but there's been plenty of movement in the market tonight. By looking at the 1h chart you can find the support and resistance to start looking for the PA on the 5m charts if there isn't PA there to trade look for the next area and so on, eventually it has to find a turning point with tradable PA. It just takes practice to recognize the best set ups to trade.

stevepatt started this thread PA on EU couldn't have been better today, there was about 150 pips available from two trades with a 10 pip SL on both, pity I wasn't around to trade it.
Just got in and caught this long trade though, again with the 200EMA increasing the strength of the MML.

Your right, it's worth waiting to trade the best setups and increase your chances of a successful trade, at the end of the day it's all about giving yourself an edge.
