surferking started this thread Apparently in a month or two they will also release a trade copier subscription to copy his trades onto your account.

The costs is likely to be 1 pip per trade, so probably averaging 10% of your winnings.

He 'says' he's never made less than 180% return in the last 5 years trading his and client accounts so I guess it will just be a question of whether your pot/trade size will be sufficient to cover subscriptions costs and still make a good profit.

Might follow them tomorrow and Friday, it is fascinating to watch. Just got to figure out how to do the rooms for a month in between work commitments to see if I can work it to trade at other times of the day. I could probably manage a couple of hours a day for the kind of reliability those in the rooms seem to be getting. Time is money though as they say.

A real eye opener. Even if you have no interest in scalping 1min charts, his webinar covers so many interesting things about trading and brokers in particular, that alone is worth the visit. I don't think I've ever heard anybody answer everybody's questions on brokers with such directness.

I also paid a visit to the live room today (he made about $23000 in four hours trading live), and he honestly strikes me as someone who wants his clients to make money. He's very very open to answering questions and explaining trades. The only rules are you don't talk whilst he's in a trade. Understandable when you see the levels of concentration that are required.

Although the live room is $275 per month, you can just sign up for the Order Book feed which I think is $75 per month for 5 currency pairs. Although his suggestion is you do pay for 1 month in the live room. During the first two weeks you observe, ask questions, get to understand how and why he's taking the trades. Then he'll give you the live feed for Order Book for One month free. You'll still get another two weeks in the room and he's seems fairly relaxed about offering you a further two weeks if you really need it.

If you've got it all worked out, you could just continue with the live feed and trade on your own.

One of the things that was interesting about his strategy, he doubles up his trades when the trade goes against him by a pip or two, sometimes going on to double up again if it continues against him. Seems counter intuitive, but when you see it in action you understand the logic behind it.

Personally, I'm not sure it's the type of trading I could do long term, but I am tempted to sign up for one month. I think $275 would seem cheap by the end of the month with what you'd end up learning. Even if you didn't go on to use Order Book.

Anyway, I'm going to be in the live room again tomorrow, so maybe see a few of you there as well. Nigel

Marcus

Thanks for the post...certainly looks interesting. I wish I had seen this when I was attempting the life of a full time trader.

I have signed up for the Webinar on Monday at 9pm called OrderbookFX orientation. Is this the right one?

Re: Orderflow trading/scalping with OrderBookFX

surferking started this thread I think the weekly webinar won't be as in depth as the one I saw that was put on for TulipFX forum members but he may put on another one if there is enough demand.

The weekly one I think is less about the actual price action strategy and more about how the product works but that's fine, the strategy is pretty much price action common sense anyway - anyone that has been through babypips and looked at candle patterns should know that stuff anyway.

One thing new and interesting I did learn was about the "Cycle Lines" indicator in MetaTrader, which having seen it, seems to work very well if you mark the last 6 or so cycles and want to predict the next ones. I definitely recommend googling more on them but here is a random link I Googled that explains them:
