trading and investing shares

A thread as per title for general discussion...

Specifically for today, what are my chances on shorting Newscorp at 2.30 open today, would etx get me in. Fast enkough if the last 2 or 3 days is repeated, ie 70ish point drops in the first minute?

Or would I Get slipped and tripped.?

I bought £200 of Yell.com shares in my sipp last month as a long term punt @ 5.5p a share as I noticed off the charts they have bounced twice off 5p this year. Cost £9.50 for the transaction with Hargreaves Landsdown so was expecting a bit of a wait to cover that and the bid spread too.

Noticed yesterday Yell announced a tie up with Microsoft for online advertising and checked the sipp, Yell holding is now up 88% in 3 weeks!

I tell you study in forex charts for double / tripple bottoms translates to share line charts just as easily.

If these get back to £2 - £3 a share in the next 23 years will be a nice addition to the pension pot, if they go bust I lose £200 now which will be like losing £20 by the time I retire!

Hi Rob,

I really enjoyed 'The Naked Trader 2'

Are you referring to his regular email newsletter or does he also offer a specific training course?

As this thread is about trading shares, I thought I'd ask here. Anyone know anything about "Turnaround Trader" by Guy Cohen. It's just got a mention on MoreMoneyReview and at £197 is a lot cheaper than his other stuff. ?

sorry for delay enjoying Hols

it was just his weekly email I am not aware of any courses he does but his tramline Elliot wave fib levels with momentum divergence certainly makes sense and keeps a handle on how many indicators you should be using In any one strategy
