Indeed. And what's the take for tonight? To me it looks like EU is ready for a major move up overnight: I am in @4142.3 SL40 TP4270.

Yes! 127.7 fat pips! Well, it was a splitofasecond decision after looking at 1hr chart: it should go up! Then of course some formal analysis: EW and the idea that wave e is to happen soon, checked that wave d down is the same size as wave b, and this move up from 6pm yesterday looked very much like positioning. Also checked volumes and indeed saw such positioning at the bottom. A few line studies were showing the likely target (plus the size of wave a), so all lined up for a nice trade.

Edit: forgot to mention that this sharp leg down, wave d, on 5min at the bottom part had many bottom tails - a sign not to trust its direction, not to be scared.

Awesome, def look into this as could use another system to offset (hopefully not compound) losses, if a gu trade goes tits this could indicate not to take that paticular pair overnight?

Check the Gap trading spreadsheets, as we have 15 -20 main pairs on there with IG and SLM spreads listed i'm pretty sure these are all included and in the 2 pip to 4 pip range.

Not sure I see the point of that, if EU is looking bullish why not just trade the whole stake on AE? Play the strongest against the weakest.

Re: Overnight Trading

I'm grateful to you Rainmaker. I was making a complete hash of trading the GBP yesterday and looked at your trades. I was in a negative state of mind by that time but decided on half stakes on the AE and it's still running. Cheers. Wasn't quite sure where you were coming from but went in anyway. I think I need to study this overnight trading some more because Net Trap is a bit contrary at the moment.

Just looked at charts again, I look to go in about 8 pm, AE was stronger than the AU, which didn't even drop a point over 2 hours on the MA60....live and learn
