I have tweaked the EA parameters as I like MMI to work, and say clearly I am trading with EA because I prefer still in bed at 6.30
So for my "Lazy MMI trading" I will take EA results, good or bad, and see what happen
Today "Lazy MMI trading" is 0 points (no trade)

I set up FNT Trader v5 with MMI and it took the trade for me this morning live.

Interesting.

I'm running Antonio's MMI with FNT Trader v6, and it called a no trade this morning.

I think the set file that Antonio released with his MMI was based on Spin's V6 FNT EA, so sounds like you've gone rogue Mark

Then again, you always are on the dark side of things when it comes to FNT!

Hi Mark & Goldfinger
Yes, the file I sent was for EA_v6, it's for this is named FNT30INT30_MMI_v6.set but I don't say clearly the version in my email. Sorry for the confusion
Spin included in v6 a modification I asked for: the possibility of rounding or not the contratrend bars, so may be (and will be) different results at times between v5 and v6.
Anyway Spin tell me today if the rounding option=false, really the EA is rounding to the 6 d.p. and will be better to round to 5 d.p. if you like not round
Conclusion: we have v7 in the horizon...
Cheers

So today I have b/e (0 points) both MMI and MA40

Hi Antonio - nice result today on your MMI indicator, equally so for Mark and the AI - well done both! I banked +30, it's a lovely way to start any day...

Re: MMI - Another Alternate Indicator for NT

antonio2010 started this thread I am posting results for INT30/30 with MMI versus MA40 the first two weeks of 2011
Please remember these are results trading with the .set file I sent to who ask me, with Spin EA_v6 on SLM live.
So may be a litle different to any one trading the EA with different broker, or trading manually on ING, or changing any EA parameter, etc.
At the moment MMI is +22.7 and I don't know exactly MA40, because Mark tell me about an error in my file (thank's Mark). So I will wait Goldfinger results to post the comparative file
Anyway, I am looking long term here
