I think the minimum account size to trade the e minis is $5000. One contract (like 1 forex lot) is worth $12.50 per tick (like a forex pip) so quite high leverage, I trade with an 8 tick stoploss every trade so risking $100 per trade only. I have tradestation but I would imagine that nearly all the brokers/charting packages will have a demo mode. Tradestation fees are quite high so there is probably a cheaper solution out there. Have a look at North Finance, they do a free demo with live data but I'm not sure if they have the e minis or not. | |

Also that meta trader link - seems to be dodgy, when I go on free demo it takes me here: https://www.fxpro.com/demo-account/practiceaccount (Is this a recognised firm, the head office seems to be in cyprus somewhere) |

This should be the Met trader 4 demo account that North Finance provide MetaTrader 4 Client Terminal just click on the download and off you go. |
