Dear All,
Ken has kindly agreed to post on this thread AS and WHEN he has something.
Please do not fill up the board with "why is there nothing today" type questions. If he has something, he will post, if there is nothing then logically he will not!
As he has already explained on other threads he is not in as good health as some of us and also there is not always a tip.
IMHO, he has a world of experience that we can all gain from.
He is not charging for his service.
A big thank you to Ken and good luck with everything
To see some of hes previous and superb work look under the Brimadon thread
Dave

Thank You & some advice so to speak

Good Morning All,

Firstly, i wish to say, i thank Euro_D for hes very kind help in what hes done
for me, ref speaking on my behalf ( hope i've said this right )
Words fail me as to express more then just saying thank you Dave.

I will do my very best in trying to pick winners, that you can be sure of,
but always remember, there will be times when losers come along,
this happens to the very best to. ( no one can have winners all the time )
Hopefully with some luck, a profit could be made.
Horse Racing ( picking winners is not an easy task, trust me, as
i've been in this game for 40 years.

So i would advice anyone who chooses to follow ( back the tips ) my advices
( tips ) do so of your own choice. Backing horses is and can be great fun, the
thrill of knowing the horse/s you have backed have won, its a great feeling,
( well for me it is )

I would strongly suggest that if you choose to follow/back my tips, do have

a betting bank specially for this purpose and only lose what you can afford
to lose.

P.S. I only have horses from group one courses, but that does not mean
that when there is racing from group one course/s there will be a bet,
it all depends on various factors if there will be or won't be.

In saying the above ( group one courses ) i do look at the racing cards
everyday, the reason for this is, to keep me busy and see if theres anything
thats worth a small wager ( i should have said that i do make an exception
in certain cases.) i trust that im not confuseing anyone.

I'll end here by saying good luck ( to me to lol ) to all in what you choose
to do, and good luck inn your own field.

P.S. Any questions, do feel free to ask, and i will answer it as best as i
know how.

Kind Regards
Ken ( Countryken )

Hi Ken

Looking forward to your next post with tips (advice).

A bit of hand-holding for us newbies to horseracing may be in order from time to time, and if I ask seemingly daft questions, don't get too exasperated with me. I'm still trying to master an understanding of the 'odds' as yet. Are there ever odds where the horse wins but you don't get any money from it?

Worth a wager ( tip )

Greetings All,

As i have mentioned in my earlier post about horse racing that i at times
do make an exception, well this is one today.

The Advice ( tip ) i have given below is worth a small wager, how small
would one ask, this depends on the individual, one might place 5-00 pounds
and another might have 10 pounds, but do keep stakes in a sensible manner.
( no, im not telling you what to do, just giving an honest opinion, i mean well )

To give you an example of how much ( amount ) you may wish to place
for future tips, as follows - lets work it out on pts ( points ) staking,
your 1 pt might be £5-00 and another it might be £10 and so on
I hope i have been of some help.

Do pardon any spelling errors or written mistakes.

2-50 NEWCASTLE

No. 3. GREENWICH MEANTIME - worth a small wager.

Cheers
Ken

P.S. Win or lose, this will not be counted to the bank balance.

P.S. Bank Balance stands at = £1112-50 ( from a starting bank of £1000-00 )
all bets from group one courses are based at £50-00 win - level stakes
always.

P.S. As for your own stakes, the choice and decision is yours always.
*** Im not reponsible for any losses incured on you.

Hi Jill,

I trust that you're fine and well - of course you are lol

Yes, you will always get a return ( winnings ) from your win bet
as for an each way bet ( e/w ) it depends on the price taken or
based on the S P - thats the price of the winner.

Do feel free to ask any questions, daff ones to lol

Do take care

Cheers
Ken

Well done Ken!

One win on Friday with Rawdon and an each-way bet on Far Pavilions on Saturday - because you said it was just in fun, so I played safe. Far Pavilions came in third - so I was really happy with that.

My other half thinks I've become a bit of a whizz at this. I should really let him into our little secret - though perhaps it won't do any harm to keep him guessing a bit longer.

We females need to have our little secrets from you men ....... ;)

Good Morning All,

I have a few bets for today the 30-06-05

The only advice if i may give is, be sensible with your stakes.
( im not telling you what to do, my intentions are well meant, i won't
repeat this message as it will not sound good, i guess you know by now lol )

i'll go straight to the bets.

2-20 HAYDOCK

No. 6. BENDARSHAAN - win
No.7. DUNDRY - win

6-25 EPSOM

No. 1. MISTY DANCER - win - back this for the profit
No. 4. STOLEN HOURS - back this as a saver bet

the above race 6-25 - e.g. for profit = 5 pounds, and the saver 1-50

7-55 EPSOM

No. 1. ACOMB - win, place a bit more on this - e.g 5-00 pounds
No. 5. LANDUCCI - win - on this place e.g. 2-50

Best of luck in what you choose to do.
