Back to trading after a break and looking to setup and maintain a decent UK EOD database (mainly just FTSE 350 stocks plus FTSE indices and sector indices).

Have used Prestel in the past which is OK - provides mid or trade prices and last 20 days online. AFAIK Prestel do not supply historical data though so this has to be bought from 3rd party ... then there are maintenance issues,,,.

Am wondering if there are now other recommended feeds which can provide history, make maintenance simple ;-) and are reliable. Have looked at info on Sharescope and Investor Ease but cannot see what prices they use (mid or trade). Both these look like they can export data easily (selected date range & symbol list) which is an essential factor for me. CSI also looks good quality but get the impression not many users in UK.

All recommendations and comments welcome.
