I am in search of a good Live Futures Trading Room. I have attended and/or want to attend the following rooms, anyone have any experience with these:

Channel-Trading.com
EminiJunkie.com
EasyEminiTrader.com

They're all a load of b*llocks, the three that you have mentioned and every single other one in the world.

Save your money and use it for actual trading, all the information you could ever need is available for free.

Thats not far wrong, the only one I found any value in was Phil Newtons live trading room. Its for forex traders only as far as I remember.

Any constructive criticisms on these or other rooms? I know most are bs, but would help if there were constructive feedback with these comments....

I've got a couple suggestions, but first I must say that I was poorly used by three trading educators for a total almost $10K and a year of my life and thus necessarily became shrewd as to when people were trying to blow smoke. In the beginning it's hard to know who to believe. You don't know that you don't know.

That being said I have had experience with a couple of educators that were patient and willing to help me out for much less money. I personally trade with a mix of auction market theory and tracking the cumulative delta volume of the ES so here's two suggestions:
ioamt.com
fulcrumtrader.com
I have found these two have been worth the time and money, although ioamt has gone up considerably since I was a member there. Also you may want pm some of the staff like timsk or sharky they'll have ideas about reputable vendors/mentors.

Best,
F.E.

Hi, i have been looking at Whichwaytodaycom for a while, its live forex and indices a mixture of scalp and swing, its run by a well known guy called tom hugaard he spoke alot on bloomberg etc.., the performance looks very good. But it does not seem like anyone knows about it on t2w. They have a course in London but its £900 for 2 days. Maybe have a look at that room if you are still looking!

This guy use to be at City Index, I attended his free seminar many years ago
and he showed us a technique on 15 min chart, which i fine tuned it and it works great
always love to hear this guy.

Hi guys just fyi the above guys are offering free trial for a week. send them an email
has been an interesting week. nice to see how "experts" trade! LOL

Today Hougard and lot are doing a live seminar today at Saxo, so we are able to listen to the seminar live in our living room. LOL

Hi, those 2 live rooms look like the best about - Phil Newton & Tom Hougard, might go to Toms next live trading course, it costs about a £1000 but might be worth it, they have good results...
I was going to join Phil Newtons room, his new strategy Furquad which he does webinars for on fxstreet looks qiute easy to do, but i do not like the lack of results shown, he knows what this industry is like and without a view of potential results of the strategy people are always going to be wary of a scam!! If it is profitable why not just show results??

Hi

I am Tom Hougaard, trader at WhichWayToday.com.

If the moderator removes this, because they see it as advertising, I apologise. If you like a free trial to the live trading room (you can remain 100% anonymous if you wish to simply review it and report here), go to our website and sign up for the trial.

Best wishes

Hey Tom, you da one of the best around, so I am sure a bit of advertising is allowed by the moderators! LOL
Tell you I owe my success to 3 guys, and one of them is YOU, the other 2 are Jay Lakhani of Bindal FX and third is Peter Bains of forexmentor.

Tom, you taught me the 15 Min system ( which is what you called) when at City Index)
I combined it with Peter Bains Pivot System, and Jay Lakhnai's Power of 200ema/Fibonacci system

result - it is 90% accurate

the only f***ing problem is my mindset - keep snatching profits.
so Tom, any suggestion from you the master on mental fitness will be appreciated.

Fair play to you Tom for posting here, could you tell me are there members in your room who get similar or the same results as yourself and Paul in the room? Is it a live voice room like some of the others using omnovia? i cant try your trial or 2 day course at the moment whilst working but i should be able to soon...

Hiya Tom,
Best wishes,
Richard

Hi Mr Charts, would you ever consider having a live room of your own?
I like your nasdaq stocks patterns but level 2 and t&s i genuinly think is just too hard for some people, obviously not you, im not daft but when i watch L2 and all the tricks going on i just run a mile, otherwise i would really like to trade that way myself as the combination looks like it gives a much better edge than just a pattern alone...
Cheers!

Also Mr Charts, i was thinking if there is any sort of software/analyser/scanner that would replace eyeballing and reading L2 and T&S sort of showing bullish or bearish strength, which would be very handy for people who find it very difficult to follow L2, if there was it could be used with the candle patterns to help some of us get the edge.
Regards.

Quite a few moons ago I organised a full day workshop with various famous and not-so-famous traders and analysts. One of the least appreciated traders to speak was a gentleman (and I mean gentleman) called Mr Charts. The reviews he received were to say the least awful. Now, 6 years later, I wonder if the guy who wrote it is still around. I doubt it.

Richard, I found your presentation on my hard drive about 2 months ago, when I was cleaning up. I remember so vividly the conversation we had on that sunday morning, after the saturday workshop. I remember how upset you were about the "reviews" your presentation received.

When I look back now, having seen the other people presenting on the day (no names mentioned) I realise that YOU were the only true class act. I am sorry if this compliment reaches you a little late, but better late than never. The other fools were talking about centinal patterns and seasonal patterns. You were actually the only trader there who talked about trading what you see, and not what you think.....

I wish all the best for you

regards

Tom H

Keeno, good question!

Do you remember reading in Market Wizard the interview with the originator of the Turtle Trading system. He said that he could post his system on the front page of the Wall Street Journal and yet only 0.1% of those who read it would be able to make money from it.

In the live trading room we trade live. For example on Friday we traded 3 times and made about 30 points in total. I spoke to a woman on saturday who only took 2 of the 3 trades I called in the live room. So I asked her why she didnt take the 3rd trade. She said she didnt like the look of it.

Sunday morning I was having breakfast with a really good friend. He loves trading and executes my trades in the live room.

I gave him a £1 coin and asked him what the odds of a head was. He replied "50%". Of course he is right. Everyone knows it is 50/50. However, what you know on an intellectual level does not equate to understanding on an emotional level.

And in there lies the true answer for me. I once sat next to the no 9 on the World Golfing ranking list at some event, and he told me he was a better golfer than Tiger W. But, as he admitted, his confidence (psychology) was not as intact as Tiger, who just seemed to be able to put any bad strokes(bad trades) behind him and move on..

The solution: in my humble opinon is found in the following quote:

Everybody wants to be somebody; nobody wants to grow.
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

So I am afraid there is no magic cure...just keep working at it...every day...

best wishes

Tom

Yes good Psychology is big in trading, especially if you are trying to make a living at it...
Are you & David planning on running the live room for a good while then Tom? I see you trade fx and indices, are the indices actual futures or spread bet price? i was just thinking if its futures, it involves data feeds and all that, which aint that cheap...
The room is well priced for what you offer, you could charge more!
