Does anyone listen to Bloomberg Radio?
Or does anyone watch Bloomberg TV while trading?
I do not watch the TV because its in another room but I though I would listen to the radio via the web.
I have listened to the radio for a couple of days now and find it quite anoying and typical American that they Interupt a program to ADVERTISE, but its all american. At least they could wait for the program to break then advertise but they dont, they just suddenly put on adverts for america. I just cannot listen to it anymore. Why do they do it, at least when the program is not in the middle of the interview.
Any veiws for or against are. Might be just me.

I understand the making money bit. but they advertise US Government stuff ( Like the EMERGENCY thing they keep on about). What the hell has that got to do with the UK. When you listen to the Bloom Radio and they are talking, suddenly its breaks off in the middle of something to advertise that rubbish. Anyway, JTrader do you listen to the radio or watch the TV while trading?

I feel a bit better now I have had my moan about it.
Thanks for replying.

I have bloomberg tv on all day. It is a biiggest load of horse sh*t as they have one way agenda to push the corporate agenda but better than listening to even more bs from other traders

Be thankful BBC radio 4 'business' doesn't produce a programme. Everynight through the week we already get the the FTSE, Dow and pound, eg : "the pound against the dollar was at one ninety-five point fifty-two". What, a mounumental de/revaluation? ******s.

Grant.

Until last week had Bloomberg on all day, except now have switched to CNBC because of Erin Burnett, plus they seem to argue a bit more which makes for a better house style imo, although I'm sure that will get annoying quite quickly. It's handy but it's not a substitute for a data terminal (be that Reuters, Bloomberg or whatever) as it's too slow.

Judge Judy is better though, like to have that on at 11ish.
