You do not have to look any further than this forum to see how traders embrace Livermore’s story. No one before Jesse revealed how the game works. Stanley Kroll emphasized the lessons Livermore learned from Partridge in the 5th chapter of Reminiscences. Here is where Kroll learned how to make consistent hugh profits trading commodities long term. It was Stanley who resurrected these long out of print Livermore scrolls for our use today.

In any case Jack Schwager did a Napoleon Hill of commodities traders. Jack asked the traders. The majority said "Reminiscences," was influential in there trading. It is no surprise that all the old timers claimed to read the same stuff. What else was available?

What I find about trading for a living is that there is really no one you can share your experience with without having him or her influence your trading. One thing is for sure, whoever wrote "Reminiscences," knew an awful lot about the development of Jesse's trading philosophy. Reminiscences does not delve into chart reading or technical analysis. It was before that. Livermore's genius is that Reminiscences lives today over eighty years later, as a "traders mind mirror." "Reminiscences," echoes back your own thoughts reflected off of the mind of one of America's greatest securities traders.

If you are new to the path or have lost your way, or just need a re-entry from a trading break. Reminiscences unfolds the philosophical foundation underlying "a way of life as a trader." No matter what your level of trading experience, if you are still alive "Reminiscences of a stock Operator," has something to offer you. Download your free .pdf copy now.

I've removed the e-book . If you can show that this book is now in the public domain, I'll be happy to reinstate it - otherwise we clearly risk breaching copyright laws.

Sharky - I think that you will find that the ebook itself is an unauthorised copy of the trading classic. I have noticed that a few of these seem to be cropping up of late. For your info the copyright is retained by John Wiley and Sons and is still, as I am lead to believe, a very popular seller. With that in mind I would suggest that any reproduction either digital or otherwise would be infringing their copyright.

Steve.

it is still actually on another thread on here sharky, the jesse livermore thread.

i would suggest removing that one as well, while you are at it.

especially now that i have my copy lol.

Rem was out of print for 30 years. There copyright for sure covers there foreword, but it cannot cover the material from the previously expired copyright. I have a copy from Frazer up in Vermont that pre dates Wiley.

Rem was gone and vanished until Stanly Kroll brought it back. Does any one have any actual proof about which parts are still covered by the original copyright?

Are you giving legal advise here?

The book is going SH for £4.16 on Amazon. Has to be one of the best value for money books about trading. I find it a lot easier to read a book than a PDF file. This book was more useful than some of the ones I have spent 10x more on.
