Many directors of firms totally unconnected to airlines, aerospace and insurance, are hoarse from shouting "Business is actually O.K." Ignored, they instead are turning in droves to buying shares in their own companies. According to Directus, which monitors director share dealing, forty firms a week are seeing director buying this month, from fifteen a week this time last year.
