| Google Finance - watch this space
Interesting people move in FX this week.
Google just poached Philip Brittan, Bloomberg's former global head of FX, to head up their new data initiative. Talk is pretty thin on the ground at the moment but what little there is seems to be focusing on the possibility of Google taking on the big boys, ultimately revolutionising the provision of institutional quality real time market data and analytics.
If someone with those sorts of deep pockets fancies a crack at cheap / free data that's absolutely fine by me.
Will post more as and when I see anything of interest, but watch this space I say - that's a VERY interesting hire...
