Trying to build a definitive list of data feeds, both uk and us. The ones I have so far are:

eSignal
Interquote
quote.com
myTrack
Dial/data
BMI
DTN
Signal
Prestel

Can anyone add to this list?

Cheers,
Sharky.

For End of Day data add:

Winrow (pricey but friendly and efficient, also includes option prices) and Investorease ( also downloads news and fundamentals)

Peter

Investorease also has an export function in a number of formats.

Metastock
Indexia
Fairshares
Synergy
Excel
1-2-3
DMS (as Prestel)

It also allows user defined formats with up to 9 fields.

Do other packages do this?

It seems everyone has forgoten one of the originals.
Market Eye.
Got lost along the way once or twice but now getting back on form.
They have various set ups, Though I always find their breakdowns of modules etc, too confusing.

Investorease also has an export function in a number of formats.

Sharescope also allows export of EOD price/FA information.

Not looked it up but I bet the LSE is also in the game ...

Another e.o.d. provider is Commodity Systems Inc.
Very expensive, but they claim their data is the 'cleanest' in the industry which is why they are the favoured suppliers by Yahoo!Finance and Microsoft Network, amongst others.

Wow, a dormant thread for over a year given a brand new lease of life. Isn't that wonderful! Thanks folks I'll be adding these suggestions to our reviews section shortly.

Asian Markets Data?

Hi,
I am based in Japan and looking to trade the Asian Markets.
Does anyone know about Data providing agencies for these
markets?
Any suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated

Two important considerations for EOD data are

1) price (are any of these free)

2) are the EOD data really EOD or OHLCV

3) are the data based on the most competitive marketmaker quotes (as quoted on ADVFN) or EOD traded quotes (as quoted on mytrack and many others).

TC2000 for US prices, $30 a month EOD, about $80 I think for RT?
Paritech do an LSE price download,
Updata include lots of markets in their datafeed for the Updata TA (sadly they don't answer emails so phone to check <g>)
QuotesPlus2, unusually, do Stocks, Futures, Funds quite cheap EOD data that includes Funnymentals as well as price info (USA)
Asian etc: Yahoo do China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan according to a year old list I have handy - so if you buy any of the 8 zillion Yahoo downloader programs out there you can grab the price data for free thereafter.
