Where can i find information on bond auctions ?

In the UK I'm guessing it would be the Debt Management Office on behalf of the Treasury.

For the EEA, try looking for the equivalent, ie country's Treasury departments, as a starting point.

Also try the IMF web site and the European Parliament for pointers.

Sorry, can't be more concrete.

Yes: untill the 10th page on most searching criterea!
Even contacted the ECB!!

Dear Mr Talens,

Thank you for your email and for your interest in the European Central Bank (ECB).

The ECB is not the right address for your query, since in the euro area, government bond auctions are still the prerogative of national governments. You should therefore contact the finance ministries of the countries in whose auctions you are interested.

For Spain, please consult the website of the Spanish Treasury: http://www.tesoro.es/en/index.asp

For Portugal, please consult the website of the Portuguese Treasury and Government Debt Agency: http://www.igcp.pt/index.php.

Kind regards,

Did Mr Google told you anything I couldnt find?

Also:
Spanish auction results are always come out between 1030 CET and 1045 CET, while Portuguese auction results come between 1130 CET and 1145 CET.

But still no calendar or some easy list or something like that!?

The rising borrowing costs come against a backdrop of growing fear that Spain, the euro-zone’s fourth-largest economy, could eventually be forced to seek a bailout. I think in local newspaper comes with this information....

well, amplify trading have a daily figure sheet which shows figures for the rest of the day including auctions.

http://www.amplifytrading.com/site/page/market/Figure-Sheet-74

It hasnt been updated since 23rd december. I'm assuming it's because they are on holiday.

This was on the first page of google results. There are plenty more figure sheets out there, just need to spend time finding them. However, a lot of them dont include auctions.

It probably shows only US Auctions like all others; I have a variaty of such calendars.

Please spend more time; you would make me very happy!

I have been searching for hours but couldnt find anything. Only good advise was from the ECB to look for the individual Treasury sites(..); pretty tipical for the EU if you ask me..

Just checked the amplify trading figure sheet link today and it did show the times of European as well as US auctions. E.g. BE and NDL auctions today.

I've only just looked at it in the evening so no idea whether the sheet is updated for the morning open everyday. Worth checking this yourself if you are interested.

I did check the site this morning to see no Portugese Auction; now I dow!
I forgot the time but at that time I only saw yesterdays events.
As I am an early bird trying to catch some 0200 ET currency moves I assume it was at that time.
Will check multiple times again tommorow to see what time it updates.
Thanks for mentioning anyway; you seem to be the only one!

Yes keep checking to find out what time they update the sheet. Let us know when you figure it out!

Do you have a squawk service? They tend to talk about the auctions and other big upcoming news announcements for various markets.

This morning I cheched the site 0300 ET and it was updated for today!
Thank you very much Pento!!
Yes I try to listen/watch CNBC all the time; it also mentions most of the auctions but I like to be informed before it hits the wire.
For me this issue is solved now!
Great site this T2W!!!!

This is a longshot, but I've found that each week the Monday edition of the Financial Times (print copy) has a list of just about every economic-related info release scheduled for the coming week.

Whether it contains the info you are looking for, I don't know because I've never looked for it, but it might be worth checking out if you can buy the paper on any given Monday or find it at a local library.

Glad I could help marktalens!

Good luck with the trading. By the way, what products do you trade?

Thanks again!
I've been trading lots of different stuf but I think I found my destiny in trading currency futures.
I like the fixed times when things start running: from 0200-0400ET and from 0800-1100ET.
Most of the times I trade breakouts from price and I like to jump on divergence signs from Stochastics.
I always keep my stops tigth and try to let the winners run(stops less tigth), jumping from 2min to 5min, 15min and 30min frames following trendlines EMA and keep a close look at Pivot Points.
And you?
