Hi,

I'm really new to trading. I don't know anything about it and I'm learning. Can anyone recommend a good brokerage firm for a newbie that has a low investment minimum, small fees, paper trading.

For now, I'm probably going to do swing trading and trend trading. I'm not sure if that matters as far as what broker to use.

Thank you
Linda

Why not start with FXPro , they are good and you can also practice your trading here. Look, you do not need to look for a minimum investment broker because if you want to earn some good money, you have to put some good money.

Hello Linda,

Start by learning all about trading first, then you can select a broker later. Many broker adverts around for you to select.

Google 'forex broker fined' and you'll see what you're getting into.

Well, you might want to consider a broker that uses reliable and regulated liquidity providers. I know of Profiforex Forex Broker , they have very low spread, low commission fee and you can open an account with as little as $1.

Probably a bunch of dodgy Russian crooks operating out of Cyprus. Just a wild guess.

I would increase your knowledge base first and spend a bit more time with theory. When it comes to brokers, you need to see who will be a good fit for you. Some like one broker, others will hate the same so any advice here is not going to be good. I picked my broker after doing my own due diligence and most importantly do not listen to what brokers other traders like. I am sure you will find the right broker for you, just know what you are looking for.

There are some good brokers name that I can recommend you as FXPRO, ETX Capital and XEMarket. Those're sponsors for this community :D. To me, I'm trading with Hotforex, I think it's good for you to try.

Oanda have a demo version and a live version where you can literally risk less than 1 penny/cent per tick.

you can start by learning forex first if you are a newbie ang get familiarized with the forums before searching for a broker, the broker search is a journey that might take some time if you ask me :D
