Has anyone been contacted by the company or by anyone involved in the company?
I own shares in the company and I think some one is trying to take it over, but I am not sure?

Yes, I have been contacted by a company called Franklin Rankin in Dallas, TX about selling my shares.

I am moving forward with them, they seem to be a good company, I checked them out and they are offering more money then I paid for the shares. I have held the shares for quite a few years and had nothing to show for them and no real information from the company over the years, so if I can sell I am very interested to sell.

Thank you for your reply, I hope these people contact me as I would be interested as well to sell my shares.

The company has done nothing since I have owed the shares and if I can get out and make a little bit I would be very happy. Whomever is taking over the company probably wants there technology.

Both of you stop being so naive.

Sadly your shares are worthless, they've always been worthless because you were scammed when you first bought them from a fake broker.

Now the same scammers are running an Advance Fee fraud on you, ie tell you a pack of lies about a hedge fund wanting to buy the company for a big fat profit for you. Sounds good eh?

However, before you can sell the shares you'll be asked for some sort of payment, perhaps for lawyers fees or a release fee. PAY THAT AND IT WILL BE STOLEN FROM YOU.

If you don't believe me then go ahead but only blame your own foolishness when you find out you've been stuffed up again.

probably so anley, and rightly said. though don't you find it strange that both appeared to have joined this very day, found each other to discuss the same theme. post, then disapear into the night without reading replies thereafter, spooky :D

i'd be looking for a thailand ip right now from laural and hardy ;)

Biodefense is a long running scam, one of the owners has been convicted for some unauthorised trading offences in Texas I believe. They have been promising to go public for years. If youve bought these shares then youve been scammed and worse still if youve paid someone to sell them youve been scammed twice.

Franklin Rankin levels the playing field in becoming a public company by working exclusively with small to mid-sized businesses

Yeah sure enough, the website is registered to Greg Godovich, the address is hidden for this website but not for others he has registered.

Yes, I'd bet the second post from cecil is actually from a boiler room scammer, a thief if you will.

Whatever the case it doesn't really help the scammers because anyone typing in Bio Defence into Google will find this and other threads on the board. Hopefully my and others posts will make them realise they're being setup.

I find your posts very informative and I appreciate your views and you points. I need to find out for myself and will do some investigation before going forward with anything.

The only other point I want to make, is that the shares are worthless to me and if someone really does want to buy them then I am interested, but before I do anything I will heed your warnings.

Do they really have this product they claim to have and if so what is it worth if anything?

If it does have some value, then maybe some one can unlock that value and that is what they are interested in, I don't really know just making some points that's all.

Which of the owners has been convicted, that is interesting news, that is for sure.

I will do my own investigation but I appreciate everyone's input on this. I would certainly like to get rid of these worthless shares if possible.

I don't know if they really have this technology they claim, but if they do then maybe some one else can make some money with it.

Chinese sounding name, is it Michael Lu or something similar? Also the guy working for them was convicted of share fraud, again the names escapes me, I will look it up for you. He posted here under the user name 'bigbrains'.

But if they are worthless why would someone buy them? This is just the second part of a typical boiler room scam. Read this article and it will explain exactly what is happening, especially the last few paragraphs.

Share fraud and boiler room scams

Thanks, will do.

Shares of these companies may be worthless to me, but may be of some value to someone else. I am not saying they are or not, I am just saying "one man's garbage is another man's gold"

No they're worthless. This is called an advance fee fraud, they tell you the shares are valuable and you just have to pay a tax or fee then they will send you all the money. When they get your money they will disappear.

Yes, I understand that may be what happens and if it does I will be aware of your warning, thank you. I appreciate the information.

Smith, you better heed the warnings here otherwise you're going to get scammed again.

THE SHARES ARE 100% WORTHLESS. They have ALWAYS been worthless and because you know nothing about investing or companies it was easy to scam you in the first place. You got all your research and news from the fake broker that called you, that proves you know nothing about investments otherwise you would have realised within about 30 seconds you were being setup.

Please don't take offence to what I say I'm trying to get you to realise your mistakes and limitations otherwise you're going to fall for these types of 'easy money' scams again and again. Look at proof - you didn't realise you were being setup again for an advance fee fraud.

Good luck, use common sense, ask questions here and you'll be OK. We might be hard on you but you get to keep hold of your cash. The scammers are lovely and charming yet they steal it. Which one is better...............

Yes I understand what you are saying and yes I will not fall into the same trap again.

You make a lot of sense and I do appreciate your time and effort to warn me. Thank you.
