Well I'm going to try and keep this up
(Oooo err mrs!). I'm a Prop Trader who at the moment is deemed worthy enough to Trade the ES and the YM afternoon sessions. I'm on minimum clip size at the moment but if my mentor deems me worthy and I'm not likely to suddenly do a Nick leeson then my clips will increase and then my D**K will Swing with the best of them. Thoughout this blog there is one thing I will not divulge and that is what Firm I work for and its methods, sorry that was two things. If I do they will fire my ass for sure.
So incognito I will begin 'The Wonderful World of Prop Trading'.....let the Pain and Suffering begin.

Well, an OK session but a bit frustrating. It was one of those lack lustre days for me. Couldn't get fills when I needed them and got stopped out several times, only to see the market go in exactly the direction originally planned. Oh well, I kept my discipline and stuck to the rules. I eventually stopped because I hit my daily max loss. The platform they give me has a risk control facility built in but they give me just enough extra loss control to hang myself if I don't follow the daily max loss rule. If I break that rule, the punishment is not being allowed to trade the next day.
Afternoon Session
Trade 1 ES +0.75 Quick scalp
Trade 2 YM -4 Stopped out
Trade 3 YM -10 Stopped out
Trade 4 ES Scratch Scalp
Trade 5 ES Scratch Scalp
Trade 6 YM -8 Stopped out (Really frustrating one that, it went on to +30 within seconds of stopping me out!!!)
Anyway....main thing today was, I kept disciplined, I kept my stops, Entrys and Exits good, MENTOR happy....Tomorrow is another day. In fact its FOMC day.
