Hi all,

Have moved back to oz, quick question - for calculating daily trendlines, where do futures mkts lookat for calculations of daily levels?

ie S&P futures start new day (chart-wise) on asian mkt open (930pm London time)

I havent seen the aussie on cqg yet - does anyone know the correct times to use to calculate this?

i believe the asx200 is open for a night session to keep in check with US

SPI opens at 9:50 and closes at 16:30 Sydney time (Australian Eastern Daylight Saving time zone).

There is a (very illiquid) night session from 17:10 to 8:00 (?)

Other Asian market opens (in Aus time):

Nikkei: 9:45
Kospi 10:00

thx DCraig, appreciate it - maybe i worded my q wrong..

was more after what the mkt looks at in terms of calculating daily trendlines, as im using a spreadbetting ac to access the mkt - it mkes it even more complicated if theres 2 sessions..im guessing the start of each day session (in terms of what traders are looking at on charting software is the Syd 950am start? altho does the US 8am close constitute that days close??
